Well that is a good question. Personally I'm not sure what a broken сердце feels like. It probably awful. But that doesn't mean Ты won't find the right one. I mean yes. It can take time, and LOTS of PATIENCE. If Ты don't think loving someone is your thing and Ты just give up, then you'll never really know what it's like to Любовь someone. Keep trying, you'll find someone special.

What do mean by the person is not right for me and ends up breaking my heart? Why should my сердце break? I assume our definition of Любовь is not the same. What is love? To me, Любовь is an emotion. I Любовь my cat, I Любовь my mom and sister. Do I even think if my mom is right for me? No, I don't. I will Любовь my mom even if she will hate me или dislike me. My point is that there are not conditions for love. It is not necessary for the other person to Любовь me back. I Любовь that person and that's all it matters. I do not care if that person is loving me back или not. It would make me feel good by also having the Любовь from the person I care, but that doesn't mean I will stop loving that person without a good response. It depends on how strongly Ты Любовь a person.
