Chapter Two: Telling Mom…& Dad
    
     Becca’s eyes filled with tears as the officers told her. They left, leaving regards and told her they would be sure to get find the guy who killed Collin. Manny was standing in the living room now, with a помадка, выдумка pop tart. Becca didn’t know how she was going to tell her little sister how the brother she loved, the most was gone forever now. She started to cry, like instantly after dropping the words shot. “Oh my god, he’s dead!” She breathed louder this time. She was in shock. Soon, Becca’s parents, Hanna and Derry came downstairs. “What’s all the ruckus?” Derry asked his two children. Becca placed her hand over Manny’s mouth so she wouldn’t tell them. It was Becca’s job. Not little Manny’s job.
    “Dad….uh…mom.” Becca sat down, once еще on the red leather sofa. Her mother looked up, all smiles, just like Becca had whenever she’d discovered they’d found him.
    Just then, her brother Ian walked downstairs with, Angela his girlfriend, they were arm in arm, but then he saw Becca’s tears strolling down her face, and he walked away from Angela to his sister. “Becca,” He paused , the looked at his mother and father. “Becca, what…what’s going on?” He looked at the smiling face of his mother and the tired looked of his dad-relief washed over him as he thought, ‘Collin’s alive!’ Then, something told Ian…the cruel voice Ты often hear that says “You can’t do it!” said, “Think…think again.” He pictured the voice being fiery and sharp like a stick in a fire. A metal stick. He pictured the eyes be wide and had red pupils. He pictured it stabbing his younger brother to death as he laughed. That was when-instead of Becca telling her parents, and her brother, and her soon to be sister-in-law. Ian told her parents. He told everyone. “Collin’s….dead!”
    Becca looked over to her mother as she wept in pain and horror as she clung onto her husband. Her father would look up every couple seconds, and Ты could see tears in his eyes as well. Collin was the son he took hunting every year. “He’s gone. And it’s all my fault.” Becca сказал(-а) trying not to look at her dad again. Her dad looked up suddenly at his daughter. “Did you shoot him?” He asked looking at her like she was a blowfish. “NO!” She сказал(-а) trying to defend herself. “I told him to go to the…the…party.”

He stood up and slapped her in the face. In front of everyone.
