Is there an "All of the above" option?

I love words more than anything and a song's not good without strong lyrics that are actually written by the artist.

there are three that have to coincide... The voice of the singer has to be good and fit to the type of music being sung, the beat has to be set in proper tune with the flow of the music, and the melody has to be enjoyable and complementary to the singers voice...
as for lyrics... as long as they words work together good (aka ryming and placement and stuff like that) and are relevant to the rest of the song then it's fine...
as for the danceable, person, and instruments being used... those don't really matter as much...

The lyrics are what I listen to the most. A song isn't good to me unless it has deep and original lyrics really...

Melody, it sets up the entire song. Without it, there's no song. It tells what type of song it is. It sets the tone.
It is the basic elements of music. It is essential and fundamental. To me, rhythm is one of the most important part (which melodies include): link (I remember this from childhood lol. It struck me as a great episode, sorta an introduction to music theory.)
There's tons of amazing music without lyrics or voices, like a lot of classical music.
Bad melody with a good voice would still sound bad. Good melody with a bad voice can still sound good.
To be honest, if the melody sounds great, I tend to disregard what the lyrics are, as long as it sounds good. I usually don't realize how bad the lyrics are when there's a good melody lol.
A person will always catch a bad melody.
