Not in terms of sluttyness for me, because I don't think that being a slut makes you worse or a bad person, but though I do like Miley, some of her actions seem a bit... racist? I guess? Like she basically uses her black backup dancers as props, and the fact that she referred to Nicki Minaj's music (and I'm guessing rap music but idk) as hood. “A lot of people wanted to try to make me the white Nicki Minaj. That’s not what I’m trying to do. I love ‘hood’ music, but my talent is as a singer.” And the fact that she's a rich white girl trying to act, as she says, "urban", said the term "real mammy" at the 2015 VMAs, and the whole twerking debacle.
Comparing that to Nicki, who grew up as a poor kid in Trinidad with an abusive father, who was able to push through and become incredibly successful, and who constantly tells her younger fans to stay in school, read books, and be good kids. And who is incredibly feminist and incredibly wise. Just because her music is vulgar doesn't mean her behavior is.

Sorry if that wasn't the intent of the poll, but I don't like slut shaming people. (:

Honestly? Miley's totally. Like from her hair to her drug usage to using offensive and even degrading words. I'm pretty disappointed right now with Miley.

Just saw something of her that really angered me

Nicki is somehow seen as a role model for women when she's a racist, throws hissy fits on twitter or on stage when she doesn't get her way like a 6th grader, she bashes other women ALL the time in her songs, she's incredibly vain and encourages girls to objectify themselves, body-shames other women, pats herself on the back for being a "real" "thick" woman when she's had so much plastic surgery it doesn't look right... Miley does some of that but at least people know she's not someone to look up to. Miley was right in calling her out and about time someone did. Nicki's getting too pampered.

I can't fathom at all how Nicki is somehow better when she does everything you guys just said Miley does- but worse because she's older and knows better, which is just embarrassing, and gets praised for it.

I say Miley mostly because I think their reasons for behaving the way they do are different.

I'm under the impression that Nicki would behave more or less the same if she weren't famous- her stage persona feels more like an extension of who she really is, I suppose, whereas Miley's entire stage persona just seems like a cry for attention to me.
Not that Nicki isn't looking for attention- I mean, that's a big part of what a lot of celebrities do- but she'd still be relatively similar to her stage persona if she weren't famous, where as I get the feeling that Miley wouldn't be.

Of course, I don't know either of these women personally. These are just conclusions that I've come to based on what I know about both celebrities (which isn't a lot) and probably aren't accurate, but I don't really care. I don't have a problem with how either of them acts, either.
