Rin is a mortal kid that will grow old in time and die... Sesshomaru's heart doesn't fal for girls that easily. His heart is hard and cold. Not any girl can impress him. If Kagura wouln't die then i think he would help her regain her heart and be with her. The moment they both had wasn't nothing. Sesshomaru never cares for anyone he doesn't waste a second to help a person but he went to Kagure and got really pissed hearing that she's dying. He has a soft spot for her. And about Rin, he cares for her like a father cares for a daughter. Just because Kagura's dead, that doesn't mean Sesshomaru will be with Rin. He left Rin at Kaede's village because his journey is too dangerous for her. And like a father he cares for Rin. This is how it is. :3

Um… it says 'IS' for Sesshomaru. Sorry, but I'm pretty sure Kagura is dead. -____- Just sayin. If it said 'WAS' than I would probably pick Kagura, they could have had something if they weren't so focused on killing Naraku 24/7. However… she IS DEAD. So if anything I would say Rin. And it doesn't even specify if this person 'FOR' Sesshomaru is suppose to be for him romantically. If we aren't even talking romantically at all than Rin beats Kagura in a heartbeat even if she was alive. Rin will always be first in Sesshomaru's heart… it's kind of a given. Maybe not romantically but still.

RIN RIN RIN RIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!! Sesshomaru sees Rin everyday. He's only seen Kagura a few times, same with Kagome, never seen Kikyo, seen Sango a few times, never seen Aiame and only saw Sara for one day. HE GOES WITH RIN

susama but who cares how many times he sees Rin? It's how he feels, not who he sees. You can't Lord Sesshomaru-sama himself, a cold and immortal demon fall in love with a mortal child. It doesn't matter how many times he saw her he can't let his heart be taken by a child. He seem to see her more like a father than a lover.

Like I said in some other pick, Rin and Sesshomaru doesn't work because right NOW, Sesshomaru sees Rin as a daughter, and once you love a person like a child, you can't love that person romantically. Your feelings doesn't work that way. And what's more, she is a human... Sesshomaru dislikes InuYasha because he was a half-demon, and hates the fact that his father left his mother for a human, so I doubt he would go so low in his standards as to love a human girl.

Kikyo and Sesshomaru is actually possible, though unlikely. Kikyo has indeed been in scenes with Sesshomaru - most of them set in Mt. Hakurei. Kikyo and Sesshomaru both have a quiet personality, keeping their thoughts and feelings inside. But those two together would make a really quiet scene, and both of them needs someone who would bring the best out of them.

Kagome, Sango & Ayame has no chance with Sesshomaru, so while they are fun to fanfic about, they aren't really the best fit for Sesshomaru. Kagome has InuYasha, Sango has Miroku & Ayame has Koga - end of story.

I don't remember much about Sara, but she appeared for only two episodes or so, and her love for Sesshomaru is a silly unrequited one.

As for Kagura and Sesshomaru, it's never been clearly shown whether Sesshomaru ever liked Kagura. There were many reasons for why Sesshomaru went to Kagura at the episode when she died. And InuYasha and his gang went as well, so it could have just been what a friend would do - not necessarily a boyfriend/girlfriend.

But out of all of the above, Kagura still is the best fit... and I am a strong supporter for KaguraXSesshomaru, because of those precious moments where they meet eye to eye, and know that there were things they shared in common, and that they understood each other.

Though I do agree with AleUnknown that IF we weren't talking about romantic love interests, Rin comes first in Sesshomaru's eyes, and has the first priority. That was proven in The Final Act, when Sesshomaru shed tears for Rin, but not for Kikyo or Kagura.

Sorry for my long ramblings, but I will not cut this short because this is simply how I feel about who Sesshomaru should choose to be his life partner.

I say Rin-chan 'cause she's so cute with him,and I have a good feeling as the years progress she'll become more beautiful and Sesshoumaru-sama will fall in love with her , since he cares so much for her anyway. It will expose eachother's feelings towards eachother (if Sesshoumaru-sama ever show his feelings towards her ...) I feel a great pairing with them.

Kagura died, yes. Doesnt mean there is never a connection between them. I mean, when inu no taisho dead doesnt mean izayoi never love her, didnt she? They're love story tragic I say.

its sad they didnt have much time together...but they really should have been together.....but sesshomaru's reaction when kagura was fading away......and kagura's last wish was to see him 1 last time...maybe sesshomaru have developed a little bit feeling for her....bcz of that he rushed and appeared in front of her to see her 1 last time.....and she was happy to see him.......if sesshomaru has no feelings for her he didnt go through the trouble to see her............

i though she was pure evil but i was wrong she was a good person forced to do all evil deed to gain her freedom...and naraky betrayed her in the end............i really felt sorry for her
