Who Would We Want To Play Simon In #Shadowhunters 

We can tell you that we know that casting is underway for Shadowhunters. We are hoping that the casting is something that we can get behind and believe in. This show is something that we believe in whole heartedly.

Simon. There is only one perfect Simon in our eyes, and that is Robbie Sheehan was the best part of the TMI Movie, and fits Simon to a tee. He is strong, yet vulnerable. Handsome yet geeky. He commands a presence on the screen that you can’t turn away from. Robbie made the movie, and has solidified everything that we need Simon to be.

Beyond Robbie Sheehan finding the perfect Simon is kind of hard. Once you have perfection – it’s like how do you settle second best.

But we would love Devon Bostick. He’s currently on The 100 – we know that. But hey, they are both set to film in Vancouver, so you know – multitask and all. Devon has a presence that can’t be argued with on the screen and he embodies the strengths that Simon would have. Geeky, but sheik. Devon before has mentioned that he would like to play Simon. We believe that he could do it.

And thirdly – Nick Robinson. He’s just finished The 5th Wave and Jurassic World. He was on Melissa and Joey. But we’re loving him. He’s so young, fresh, and has an edge that we consider Simon.

All three of these actors could pull Simon off – but we have to admit that we really want it to be Robbie. Do we know that the chances of anyone from the movie coming over is slim? Yes. But we can hope.
