Sonic Фан Characters Article: DA group of touchy-ness

Has anyone seen how touchy people are on DA? I might be wrong, and I'm not saying even half of the people there are touchy, but this person was. The person didn't cuss at me или anything, but she was REALLY strick.

Basically I Опубликовано some art on a sonic-fan-character group, of which one had Rin without her капот, худ on. She wouldn't let the pic through because it didn't "look" like a sonic character to her. So I explained how they don't have to look like them, или even be mobians to be them. SONIC HAS HUMANS IN IT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!

Still she сказал(-а) no. So I made some examples of characters that don't have to have the muzzle или eyes like a normal sonic character (Nicole, Sleuth Dog, ect.). Still she сказал(-а) no.

I made the connection to how Rin could be like E-merl and Nicole are, with the AI-like type. And she even сказал(-а) then that Nicole still had the muzzle normally. NICOLE HAS BEEN A HAND-HELD DEVICE FOR еще THAN HALF THE COMICS! She was a sonic-character then.

Still not working. So I tell her that I will simply post my work elsewhere. So she says that I can post my work here as long as it's a sonic Фан character, saying that if it doesn't look like one, it isn't one, which is ridiculous.

So she says that she's going to block me from the group now to help me leave. I try to tell her that I'm not going to cause trouble или anything, and that I've already left the group, but of course she's already blocked me.

People really shouldn't just take it to their own heads to say what is and what isn't a Sonic Фан Character. I've seen tons of characters that don't even look mobian to me when they are mobian. I Комментарий about it, but I don't stop them, and I'm 100% fine with them being there.

SEGA and ARCHIE. These are the only ones who can actually say what can and can't be a sonic character. No one else. So why do they think they can just block things that they don't think look like mobians? RIN ISN'T MOBIAN! They did not make Sonic, или mobians.

How to make an interesting character (AKA Ciara-the-Gecko's jumping on the bandwagon)

This is an opinionated guide, folks, it's my opinion, so stfu.

OK, let's start with Дизайн and illustration, don't go to TeamArtail, find a good screenshot and colour over it, don't use a base everyone else has used over 1000 times, I will say, if you're having a hard time with a pose, look for a resource image and copy the pose from that. Spines are ok, as long as they aren't exactly like Sonic's, that's been done. TO DEATH. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CHARACTER 2 лиса, фокс TAILS, I'll explain еще on that later.

Next off, let's try naming, don't give your character six names, the maximum is three; First name,...
