HER
I walked up the hallway, my stuff clinging to my chest. I was thinking of everything I needed to do today, everything that I needed to remember. I blinked in shock, looking up as something caught the corner of my vision. It was HER. She had copied me exactly and was staring at the floor.
I blinked and she looked up at me and smiled.
“I stare at the floor when I walk,” I сказал(-а) flushing.
“I was wondering what was so interesting,” she сказал(-а) with that smile of hers as she passed. “You looked really interested in something on the ground.”
I laughed almost. “Nope. Nothing, just thinking.”
“Oh,” she сказал(-а) laughing. She showed her pretty white teeth. “Don't think too much, okay? See Ты in class!” And she skipped off to her job.
HER name was Ms. Rye, and she was my teacher.
