Chapter 18
Abandoned
Father literally freezed and glared it me with such intensity.
“Don’t give me that look, I didn’t even know they’d be here.” I said, putting my hands up.
Father suddenly smirked. “Then they’ll find the killer, enjoy jail angel.”
My mouth dropped open, and father smirked cruelly at me, he turned to Azerien. “Come Junior, we must go.”
Azerien flinched, his eyes darting between us, torn once again. “Father do Ты really-”
“Yes! Now come!”
Azerien looked at me miserably, he mouthed ‘I’m sorry’, and he followed father out. I was about to race after them, until I heard the door knock. If I answer it, they’ll wonder. If I don’t they’ll most likely sneak in here.
One option only, I have to hide.
As I thought of that I heard the door click open, porbably from a barrett. I almost froze until I kicked myself out of it (not literally), I raced to my room as quietly as I could and I could hear America yell out “hello”.
In my room, I took my laptop, and a few little prised posseions with evidence of me and I threw them out window. Luckily they landed in the soft spot of grass, covered and safely hidden, unlike me. I quietly went into father’s room put cursed when I saw most of his…things, gone. He must’ve entered here took his things with the help of Azerien and jumped out of the now open window.
I heard footsteps on the stairs coming up, and I panicked. I looked around everywhere, and saw father’s personal bathroom, I went in there.
I turned off the light, breathing hard. I looked up and saw those air vent things where Ты a skinny person could fit through.
Hallelujah!
Father’s room was at the end of the hall, hopefully they should check this last. I managed to get through it by standing on the toilet and carefully jumping up. It would’ve been perfect, if I hadn’t dropped the cover for it. It made a deathly clang on the floor and I hurriedly scurried through.
The airvent was very spaced, and I could barely breathe, but I quickly made my way through and entered upon the regular bathroom where I just saw America leave.
Carefully, I removed the cover and dropped on the floor, I landed on my feet with grace (pure luck) and I peeked through the door.
Not a single soul.
I quickly went down the steps and saw the front door, oh, the glorious front door. I was about to race to it when I saw Gregori’s back. Quickly I went to to hide under the couch, but I tripped on shoelaces so I was behind the диван, мягкий уголок , but I fell behind it, and I’m sure there’s a light bruise forming.
I quickly pulled in my legs when I saw Gregori turn, so he wouldn’t see them. That would be a pretty pathetic way to get caught. He had this curious look on his face, but he shrugged and turned back to the door.
He was keeping a lookout!
Scratch escaping through the front door, the windows my best bet.
I crawled away from the couch, towards the kitchen. Luckily Gregori was so fascinated with the door, that he didn’t bother to turn his head to look around all the places. Great job, Gregori, I’m guessing he was roped into this.
I saw a window. A window! I stood on the counter, looking towards Gregori, who now looked like he was sleeping standing up. It was morning after all, and I think he once told me that he did most of his sleeping first period.
I scuttled through and landed on the floor with a soft plop. I breathed in the lovely scent of grass, then ran to the side of the house, where some trees were that started to a forest. Where I had thrown all my things. Since the windows were open I could still hear, just barely, what they were saying.
“Nothing, nothing at all.” America сказал(-а) dejected.
“Let’s just go, I’m sure-”
“No,” America cut Gregori off. “Were staying, come on guys, were so close. And he’s not here, we’ll find something, I’m sure of it.”
I breathed a sigh when I heard sounds of agreement. If they stood in that house, I would be fine, it helped my chances of them not catching me.
I took my things, или еще likely, I took my laptop and hid my other things that couldn’t fit in my pockets. Then I put the rest of it in my special bag, that I was glad I threw down. It’s special because it once belonged to my mother, who used it for high school and I’d put all special things in there. I was relieved when my special thigns fit in with the stuff I threw down. Except my laptop, I’d just have to carry that. I was still crouching when I heard a noise, foot crunching with leaves on the floor.
Before I could do anything, a pair of feet in a stylish boots appeared before me. Sighing, I lifted myself to look at my capture.
Oh my gosh…
“Mom,” I whispered.

It's sad
It's the truth
Fighting through what it is
But I'll be stronger
I've gone through
Mounds of pain
I've been through
The deepest waters
Nobody can change my past
It's the truth, and it changed me
Sad to even hear the truth
Sad to...say the truth
Reality's always sad
And no one's gonna escape it.
It's how I became who I am today
It's how I didn't brag.
Why does this have to happen?
Why did it have to end?
Why does the world have to be so confusing?
Why did the fun have to end?
The world's just a crazy place
And no one's gonna stop that thought
Cause I'm broken for good...
Because of...the truth.
It's the truth

But I'll be stronger
I've gone through

Tell me darling why Ты cry,
Your tears stain the постель, кровати Ты lay upon
Could it be Ты miss the ones Ты clung to so tight,
Nothing but a scared little fawn
The flames burnt away your past and future,
The hate did nothing but balance your grief
What now? That’s presents question,
Something so fragile like a branch being clung to by a leaf
Where is your mother little dove?
What happened to those loving others who filled your empty nest?
How many word of the world can Ты rhyme with love?
Perhaps someday we will know with, proper care and rest
When pursuing dreams take chances and strive for nothing less than best
Then only then can Ты be sure you’ve completed life’s most demanding quest
Your tears stain the постель, кровати Ты lay upon
Could it be Ты miss the ones Ты clung to so tight,
Nothing but a scared little fawn
The flames burnt away your past and future,
The hate did nothing but balance your grief
What now? That’s presents question,

When pursuing dreams take chances and strive for nothing less than best
Then only then can Ты be sure you’ve completed life’s most demanding quest
Soar, soar
Soar beyond your wildest dreams.....
There's no limit
On how much Ты can soar
No one can
Break your wings and kill you
Soar for the skies,
Don't let the feelin go
Just soar, soar like never before
No one's gonna stop you
From believin
There wasn't a time
When nobody could never soar
But there was a time
When people never believed
And tomorrow
Isn't the день to fall
And nobody's gonna push Ты down
Oh almighty eagle
We're gonna be the powerful eagles
We're not gonna let anyone
Be our ruler,
We're not anyone's slave
Almighty eagle
Oh soar, soar towards the sky's height
And soar toward your dream
Let nothing keep Ты away
Almighty eagle
Soar beyond your wildest dreams
And we're gonna fly tonight
Let nobody keep us down.
