Chapter Five
Book Two- Sophie
SECRETS ARE MEANT TO BE KEPT SECRET. DON'T GO LOOKING FOR THEM BECAUSE YOURS COULD BE AS EASILY EXPOSED. -Emma
I studied myself I'm the bathroom mirror. I was pretty, no Вопрос about that. I had dark black hair and gorgeous brown eyes like my sister. I kept my hair shoulder-length while Zoe liked hers long and covering most of her face. She once told me that it gave her a mysterious vibe. I liked my hair short because it showed off my roundish face. It was odd. Zoe and I are twins but my face always seemed a little еще round and cutesy then Zoe's face.
I just couldn't see how the hot lawn guy was interested in Zoe. She was decent but still. I saw him flirting with Zoe the other день and she stood there looking like a moron. Stop it. Stop it right now Sophie. She is your sister. It seems like I have to tell myself that almost everyday now.
Since Madison invited me over, I had to dress to impress. She had already divulged to me that she was going to have some cute guys over. I couldn't wait. It was the perfect thing to make lawn guy jealous and find a hot summer boyfriend while I was forced to stay in Brunswick. To appear beautiful, I had my hair curled and flipped to the side while wearing my new розовый dress and leather jacket. Then I had some fishnet stockings. I was hot! I was so glad that dad was all over Carrie to notice my outfit. He would never approve even if the dress was past fingertips.
On my way out the front door, I lawn guy relaxing on the freshly cut grass. He had shades on and was unfortunately, fully dressed. "Hey, aren't Ты suppose to be fixing the yard или seething? We have a pretty dense forest back there."
He looked up at me. He seemed a bit irritated that I ruined his moment of peace but he didn't Показать it in his tone. "Hey, Zoe," he greeted.
I rolled my eyes. "I am Sophie, her twin sister," I said. "If you're going to work for us, can Ты please try to learn our names."
"Well, sorry Sophie," he сказал(-а) with a bit of a souther accent. "I better get back to work. Like Ты said, that forest is pretty dense." He left with a wink and a nod.
I stood outside for a bit. Madison had сказал(-а) she would pick me up. I didn't want to seem Остаться в живых in front of lawn guy so I went to the side of the house to put some distance between us. 'Foolish girl, Ты could spend your time wisely if Ты would Поиск for Emma.' Ever since we have been here Ты can say that I have been haunted by a demon ghost. I really try to block him out because he is a master when it comes to controlling someone. He tells me things that I don't want to hear and it makes it easier for him to control me. I tried telling Zoe but he already has such a strong grip over me that if I try to mention him, I abruptly have such an asperity with anyone nearby.
I ignore what he says and instead watch to see if Madison's car will be arriving soon. 'You insolent girl! If Ты dare thing Ты can escape my grip over Ты then Ты are sadly mistaken.' I could feel the smirk that appeared on his face. A deep troubled feeling bubbled in my stomach. My legs began to wobble as I collapsed to the floor. The agonizing pain in my head made me unclear whether I или someone else was screaming. His wrath was my hell. My eyesight dimmed and I thought I would die. No, I hoped I would die. Then I would be free of the pain and suffering I was in right now. 'My plan is for Ты to die but now right now.' Then it went away. The pain, the blazing огонь that filled my throat and the feeling in my stomach. I was weakened and huddled on the ground. Madison and lawn boy were helping me up but I was oblivious to it all. The only thing I could hear was the malicious cackling of the demon ghost trapped in my head.
Madison had agreed to take me to her house while lawn boy stayed here at my house and to warn my parents abut everything that had happened. Madison helped me into her parent's car as tears went down my face. "What happened to Ты out there?" she asked.
"We should take her to the doctor instead. Maybe thy could figure out the cause for his nervous breakdown." сказал(-а) Madison's mom.
I wanted to say I was fine but something held me back. Something within me. "Mom, she doesn't need to see a doctor!" protested Madison. "I am sure she is fine. We all have those moments when we want to scream."
"But we never do them," сказал(-а) her mom. "This could be a psychological problem that is within her brain. I will schedule her every Tuesday and Thursday from nine to two to see me. Will her parents be okay with that? We should notify them."
"I'll check Sophie's phone to see if she had their number," Madison reached into my кошелек to find my phone. Since I showed no sign of objection, Madison continued to peer inside my new phone which I had just received from dad. "Here it is." Madison handed the phone to her mom. Her mom quickly put the phone to her ear and began talking.
"This is Amy Clark, Madison Clark's mother. I would just like to inform Ты that your daughter had a nervous breakdown at her home." She paused for a moment. "Okay, and where shall we meet?" Another pause. "Okay, gotcha. We'll be there." She gave the phone back to Madison who placed back into my purse.
It was a short ride to wherever we were going. I was considering my own thoughts the entire ride. The demon within me was constantly on my mind. The idea of being controlled but an outside force scared me. It made me want to breakdown all over again. I couldn't tell my thoughts from its thoughts. Our minds began to merge as one. This was a horrifying thought to me.
I was truly terrified. I couldn't help but to think of Zoe and my family. Who m we what I was capable of if this demon ghost completely controlled me.
"I help Ты get her out," сказал(-а) Madison's mom. She parked the car and swiftly helped Madison lug me put the door. I felt bad for them having to care for me. "Her parents сказал(-а) they would be coming." They rested me on the park bench.
Madison sat Далее to me. "Okay, Ты have got to snap out of this Sophie," she said. I turned to face her and I guess the look I gave her most of told her that I was in no mood to socialize или to even move, I wanted to scream или . . . die.

Why can't the world become a fairytale book?
It wouldn't be as mean
But it may be much еще green
Драконы that can be your pet
Princesses with hair for rope climbing
Pumpkins that can turn into horse carriages
And Кошки that wear boots and fight mice.
The people in reality aren't always very nice
But even the ogres and giants can say hello and give Ты nice things
Princesses aren't snobby Queen bees at school
Princes aren't egomaniacs
And money is in gold, silver, или copper или even magic beans!
Hens lay golden eggs
Poverty can end in five seconds
Ты can get your own fairy and wish for whatever Ты want
And have your any desires
But I guess this is all in the mind
But the world can be kind at times
It isn't always bad and cruel
But imagination makes it go around
It wouldn't be as mean
But it may be much еще green
