what is a 'medal' in fanpop?? and how do u get one?? thanks...

i wanted to know that Вопрос too and a friend told me how to earn them.
Ты have to post allot of things and many people have to rate it, that's how Ты earn your medal ^_^

What are medals?

We felt like our users should be rewarded and recognized for their good deeds and contributions to the communities so we designed the medal system. Based on your activity within a spot Ты can earn different levels of medals. Think of the Медали as a measure of reputation. The higher the medal, the еще respected the user in that spot. These Медали are awarded to those who regularly contribute quality content from:

posting highly-rated links, videos, Обои and Статьи
starting active Форум topics and picks
and active participation

How do the Медали work?

Each different level of medal reflects your reputation within a spot. Here is a таблица of the available medals:


Medal Level What it means
Dedicated Фан Respect from fellow fans! This Фан has made some good contributions to fandom.

Die-Hard Фан Greater respect from fellow fans! This Фан has made significant contributions to fandom.

Fanatic Mega respect from fellow fans!!! This Фан has gone above and beyond the call of normal fans.
