*If* Bella married Jacob how would he support her financially?

If they married, I think Jacob would have gotten a job. Nothing fancy, nothing that required a degree. Bella wasn't a fancy person. She could have settled for the life Jacob had to offer. A simple one, a life without an enormous amount of money.

Though, let's not forget that Bella's reason for marrying Edward was not for money. Nor for the fact that he was a vampire.

Well obviously he would have a child with her, give it some weird idian name we can't pronounce and then commit suicide...It's a book...she could make it all up and say he went to some big law firm and becomes CEO of a lawyer company in New York. Ты never know.

I've met some married couples who still live in their parents' house. I guess Jake and Bella would have lived with Billy until Jake got a job and had the money to Переместить out.

Yes, I think Jacob would have eventually gotten a job; in fact, I think Bella would have convinced him to graduate.

Besides, who says the man HAS to support the woman? I remember Stephenie saying that Bella would have gone on to become a teacher; now, that's not the most glamorous job, but my sister-in-law works a job for similar pay, while my brother is a house-husband. (Though he is also a mechanic for hire; whenever Друзья или relatives need something worked on, they call him)

They get along fine, and are probably in about the same position B/J would be. Not living the rich life, but not worrying about losing their home.

Also, Billy's not completely unable to care for himself; there are things that he is still able to do (he just does them differently). And remember when Jacob ran away in Breaking Dawn? Jacob's obviously not the only one that cares enough about Billy to keep an eye on him.

The thing is... that didn't happen. Stephenie cleverly worked it so that Jacob could mooch off of the Cullen's and no one would care. I know your Вопрос was theoretical, but it really doesn't matter because it was never a real possibility.

I think he would've done fine. *shrugs* If they married, he would have gotten a job, and Bella already has a beginner job, that would probably go to a highter job slowly.
