Laptop because you could email/im/tweet someone for help and plus entertainment

You can't pick a laptop over two LIVING beings. If your laptop gets smashed, buy a new one. You can't place a price on life, even over the necessity to consistently be on the internet.

I have a really intense fear of rats.

I chose rats for the simple reason that they are living creatures, not just machines that can be repaired or bought again. Rats are pets, therefor family. I love rats.

I LOVE rats, but I would choose the computer so I could sell it and get more and more rats! (Also, you would have no internet connection... so... yeah.)

1. laptops cant suffer. 2. you can buy machines over and over but not rats. of course you can get another one but it will always be different the the first. 3. do you think that you would ever forgive yourself for not saving them? Ive heard of rats saving their owners from fires, so i bet they would save you enstead of their food if they had the chance. but, its your choice.

It's two lives, it doesn't matter if your laptop has valuable information or you can't buy another, you shouldn't deny another creature that chance to survive.
