Prologue
Every год the young Волки of the Western Pack go through a ritual to reach maturity, and to reach this goal, they must hunt down a caribou… This time the pack omega, Humphrey was to guard the caribou while the others went to get Winston the pack leader. But little did they know… The caribou, was still alive….
Chapter I: The Failed Hunt
The трава swayed elegantly as Hutch, Kate Garth, and Humphrey the young Волки of the western pack walked silently by, stalking caribou for their hunt. The group crouched down by some tall трава Далее to a small herd of caribou. “You know what to do guys…” сказал(-а) Hutch. “Wait for my command…NOW!!” shouted Hutch. Then suddenly the group of Волки leaped out from behind the tall grass, biting at the caribou’s legs and clawing at it’s back. “Great work guys, we took it down!” сказал(-а) Hutch. Kate, Garth, Ты come call the alpha with me, Humphrey-you stay here and guard the prey. “HEY!” shouted Humphrey. I’ve waited for this my whole life! I won’t let Ты push me back like this! “Know your place omega!! “ shouted Hutch. “As a beta, I demand Ты to stay. Gasped Humphrey. But Humphrey had noticed to late, the caribou had already ran back into the forest. “You’ll be amazed dad. It’s probably the biggest of the season.” Kate сказал(-а) to Winston as the small group walked through the forest to see the caribou. “It’ll last the hole week!” сказал(-а) Hutch. “We are very proud of it!” сказал(-а) Garth. “Oh yeah!” сказал(-а) Kate. “And there it is! beautiful isn’t it!” сказал(-а) hutch as the group arrived where the caribou had been killed. “All I see is the omega…!” “Humphrey…” Growled Hutch. Damn…Damn… Hutch will rip my skin off !” Humphrey сказал(-а) to himself. “Humphrey! Where is our freshly caught caribou! “Err… Ты mean the one we worked so hard to catch?” Humphrey сказал(-а) to Hutch nervously. “You know the consequences of losing the hunt don’t…” Just then Humphrey dashed to get away. “Hey Where do Ты think you’re going!? Get him back here!” Shouted Hutch. “Humphrey!!!” Roared Garth. Garth tried to grab his tail but barely missed. “Let him go!” Yelled Hutch. “Why? we almost had him!” сказал(-а) Garth. “If he returns Winston will teach him a lesson.” сказал(-а) Hutch
