Prologue

[Kate’s Point of View]

Lilly and I were playing together for the last time. Ты see, Lilly is about to go to alpha school for the rest of the year, and once she gets back, we can only talk to each other… So we want to spend as much time together as we possibly can… Finally, the time came for Lilly to leave. I’m going to miss her….

I looked down to the ground. I was stuck in my own world. What was I going to do without my sister? We did everything together. Now that Lilly is going to be a HIGHLY trained alpha, I won’t be able to do what we used to do together.

I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn’t hear Humphrey walk up to me. I didn’t notice him until I felt a paw on my shoulder. I turned around startled by his presence. I took a few deep breaths before saying, “Humphrey, don’t sneak up on me like that again!”

“Sorry,” he replied, “I thought Ты would have noticed… So…”

“So what?”

“It’s just the two of us.”

I didn’t know what he was talking about until I remembered that his big brother, Justin, was going to alpha school too! It looks like it is going to be the two of us, save all the adults and (of course) the vegan wolves. Wait; did I say just the two of us? I was wrong. I saw three Humphrey’s three Друзья creep up on him. Shakey motioned for me to remain quiet. It wasn’t long before…

Humphrey’s three Друзья jumped onto him! I just laughed. “Okay, VERY funny,” Humphrey said, “Get off!”

I was about to walk away when I heard Humphrey say, “Hey Kate.” I slowly turned around. “If Ты want to hang with us, you’re еще than welcome to.”

I gave it some thought. Sure it would be weird for me to hang around with the boys, but it beats the vegetarians. I nodded. “I would Любовь to.”

Missing Parents Children's Story

This was something that I did for my Письмо class last год and it ended up being a bit different from the original Missing Parents so I decided to share it.

It was a calm день at Jasper Park in the Western Pack. The pack of Волки were going about their day, but in the логово, ден of the leader, there was much excitement. It was Father’s день and Kate and her husband, Humphrey, were busy getting ready for her parents to arrive. Kate’s sister, Lilly, and her husband, Garth, had come to help as well. The Making of my Stories: References in Newest Additions, Missing Parents, and Legend

I decided to add a section for references and callbacks since these stories have quite a few of them. There are a couple of things that I don’t really count as references since they’re pretty much a constant in the movies. One of them is Runt climbing a дерево and the other is Humphrey logboarding, both of which I tried to include at least once in the stories that I could include them in.

Now it was time to start the секунда part of Viggo’s plan, which was also based off something else that I made a lot of changes to. Again, it started similar to the piece that had inspired it and relied on Viggo’s main campsite in the Northern Region being destroyed and Viggo looking horribly defeated and in a state that we have never seen him in.

I had also decided to tell the story of what happened to Garth’s mother. I had very briefly touched on it in Missing Parents, but now, I had еще ideas for еще detail and really wanted to tell that part of the story too. First, I had to introduce Garth’s mother before she died so the readers could establish some kind of connection to her and over the course of Письмо the секунда chapter, I found myself emphasizing that Garth had a very special bond with his mother, which I knew would make her death even еще painful.
