Well why can't it come back,Simpsons is 20 years old now and that is up to date with everything and everyone on the show has only aged 1 year or so in 20 years.

I hate to say it, but it's never coming back. They eliminated both of the villains (the Huntsclan and the Dark Dragon) so there would be basically no plot.
