Aang does have a kid her name is Korra. Like every other bender who has had kids (kataras mom and dad, Ozai, Ursa) he keeps his bending. I don't see why he'd lose it. I guess until Aang passes away there will be two avatars.

An Аватар having kids has nothing to do with their powers. I don't see why they can't.

at the end of "the Аватар and the firelord" roku can bend the 4 elements. and aang has at least one kid on "the legend of korra" and he is still the avatar.
