They rode the elevator down in dead silence. There were other people in the elevator with them so neither wanted to say anything. As they crossed the lobby to the coffee shop, the concierge approached.

“Who had called to order the room and what had they requested?”
“The call was from your publisher’s office requesting a two person suite, why is there anything wrong?”
Brennan answered. “No everything is fine. I am not sure if I will be staying another night but I will need the room until later this evening. Will there be any problem with keeping the room?”
“No problem at all, it is a pleasure having Ты stay with us Dr. Brennan. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.”
As the concierge left, Booth turned to Кости saying. “See Bones, it was a simple mistake.”

“I didn’t turn on the light in the bedroom when I got in bed. Besides nothing happened we just were sleeping.”

They entered the coffee shop, sat down and after the waitress had taken their order, Brennan asked Booth again about what his mother wanted.

As they ate in silence each was thinking about the Назад night.

Brennan thought now I know where Booth learned to talk to women as she replied. “It is very nice to meet you, Mr. Booth.”
“Oh no not Mr. Booth, just Pops”
“OK Pops please call me Tempy.”
“Well now that we all know each other let’s sit down and mother will get us some drinks.”
Brennan could feel Booth getting tense with the mention of drinks but he relaxed as soon as he saw his mother bring in a pitcher of lemonade.
“All right, mom Ты сказал(-а) that Ты wanted to discuss something and that it involved Bones.”
“Seeley, Ты call Tempy Bones. I am sure that Temperance doesn’t like Ты doing that.” Booth’s mother said.
