Brennan was getting ready for the annual New Year’s Eve party at the Jeffersonian. She had had a long день examining the remains of the latest case she was working with Booth and she decided to take a relaxing bath before she gets dressed. Meanwhile in Bones’ apartment, Кости was hoping that Booth heard her. She had been relaxing in the tub when the faucet started to drip and the sound was irritating. She had first turned the handle tighter but again the faucet commenced to drip again. Кости knew that the handle was as tight as it would go, so out of frustration she put her big toe into the faucet to stop the drip. Little did she know that after awhile her toe would get stuck in the faucet, try as might she could not get her toe out of the faucet. She had tried to dislodge her toe but no matter how hard she tried it would not budge. Now the water was getting colder and she was getting a cramp in her leg.
Suddenly she heard the knocking on her front door and she tried to yell out but with the bathroom door shut she knew she could not be heard. She was wondering who had been at the door when she heard Booth’s voice calling her name.
“Bones are Ты here?”
She answered back. “Booth I’m in the bathtub.”
“Bones did Ты call me?”
“Yes Booth I need your help.”
“OK, I’ll wait out here until Ты come out.”
“No Booth I need your help in here. I’m stuck.”
Booth removed his jacket, tossed it onto a chair then slowly opened the bathroom door and saw Кости in the tub. He tried not to look at her naked body halfway submerged in the water but he could not take his eyes off of her. While she was talking Booth was studying the plumbing problem and wishing he could remember how to remove the faucet, but since his surgery he has not regained all of his handyman skills which included plumbing. He turned to Кости and realized she has been sitting in cold water for some time and her lips were starting to turn blue.
“Bones Ты are cold why don’t we let some of this cold water out and get some hot water into the tub to warm Ты up, but let’s cover Ты with some towels right now.”
“Thanks Booth, I was getting a little cold.”

Bones: “Under the sink in the bathroom. But first give me your clothes to dry before Ты check my foot.”

Cam: “Well Andrew saw and questioned her and she told him it was none of his business.”

Angela: “Awkward, this is so awkward.”

Angela: “What about Booth? What are we to say when he asks about her tonight?”
Cam: “Oh that is going to be a problem, maybe he won’t come.”

Cam: “No all we saw was his hand and a little of his torso.”

Angela: “Oh thank goodness.”
Cam: “It’s about time those two got together.”
As they left Angela’s office they ran into Andrew who was just leaving the party.
Cam: “You’re leaving so soon.”
Andrew: “Well there is no reason to stay now. Do Ты have any idea who is with Temperance?”

Bones: “Booth instead of coffee let’s have some champagne. After all it is New Year’s Eve. There are two bottles in the refrigerator and the glasses are in the cabinet to the right”

Booth went to the kitchen, got the bottle of champagne and the glasses. He joined her on the couch, opened the bottle and poured. Кости took a sip of her glass and started to giggle. Booth looked at her wondering what she was laughing about.
Bones: “Look at us Booth here we are sitting here Ты in your underwear and me in my bathrobe.”
Booth: “Some New Year’s Eve”
Bones: “Booth this is the best New Year’s Eve. Happy New год Booth.”
Booth: “Happy New год Bones”
With that they intertwined their arms and sipped the champagne. As they lowered their glasses from their mouths, their lips moved closer toward each other and touched softly. They looked into each others eyes as their faces pulled away ever so slightly. They each moved in unison for another Kiss and this was not just a brush of the lips but a full blown, suck your face off, lose consciousness from lack oxygen, ground shaking, skies opening Kiss complete with tongue wrestling of Olympic caliber. As they pulled apart, Кости could hardly catch her breathe. She could feel her сердце racing and she knew she was feeling light headed. Booth himself knew that no matter how many saints he named it would not be enough to control his desire for her if they kissed again like that. But there was nothing to stop them from taking another long succulent Kiss except the buzzing of the dryer. They were both looking at each other, breathing heavily when the buzzer sounded again.
Bones: “That’s the dryer.”
Booth: “Yes, Кости I know.”
Bones: “You don’t have to get it.”
