In my version Trixie's arrogance is only part of her stage acts. The REAL Trixie is a very kind and loyal person. She, Derpy and Saten are childhood friends. And she's trying to make Saten a better person..
So who knows

Maybe I should write a Blue Exorcist fanfic sometime and actually post it...you have me inspired. Except, you know, I have high standards, so I try to make the characters not out of character.
