I have a friend who lives in up-state New Hampshire. We met at camp and became really close friends. She had told me about her Назад attempts at suicide, but I thought she was done with that.
HER STORY:
Her parents сказал(-а) she wasn't allowed to have a boyfriend. She got one and her parents found out. They would yell and scream at her every день saying things like "Why did Ты disgrace this family like that?!?!?!". This eventually got the better of her. She tied a rope from her ceiling Фан and had it around her neck. She just couldn't step off of the chair.
Later when she came to AIO, she was telling me about this. She told me that I was the first person to know. Later that week, me and my bunk mate, were sitting on my bunk mate's bed. Maddy was going on about how she wanted to kill herself at camp. Saying things like "if I bash my head on this post hard enough, I'll die".
Only me, my bunk mate, and 2 other girls heard her. The Далее morning, Maddy was still alive, but we feared the worst. We told a few еще girls, so we knew what to do. I didn't know what to do. I mean this was the first (and only time; thank God) I had encountered a situation like this. As a group we decided to tell the camp director about it. The camp director is such a nice person and she's kind and will listen. It's a hard trait to find in adults, that fun camps for kids.
Anyways, we told her. She then called Maddy's parents, who came a день early to pick up Maddy. At first I thought she was overacting about her parents being freaks but when everyone was hugging Maddy good-bye, her mom says "There's no need to be over dramatic Maddy". That just set it off for me.

About two weeks after camp ended, Maddy texted me "im sorry. im leaving forever.......X". I tried to convince her not to, but she had her mind set. She stopped texting me. I went down stairs and told my dad. eh called their house phone but no one answered. We call 3 еще times. Still no answer. My dad did one of the bravest things I've ever seen him do. He called the New Hampshire state police.
'My daughter has been getting texts and the girl сказал(-а) shes committing suicide." I mean those weren't his exact words, but Ты get the point.
The police sent two state troopers out to this little ennie bitty town right on the border of Canada, at 10:30.
When the troopers got there, Maddy was unconscious. They were able to get her resuscitated.
She is alive now, but I haven't spoken to her since.
