A Strange Way to Fall in Любовь Chapter Eight
Kyle's POV
I cannot even describe what happen. It was all a blur. I just acted on that moment and did not think about anything else. Before I could realize it the cops had surrounded the whole place and Lola was laying on the floor. I had no idea how she had gotten there and why she was conscious.
"Lola, it is over," I said, "you can wake up!"
I saw Horatio and he had his gun pointed at one guy while a cop was putting handcuffs on him.
"Horatio, Lola is not waking up," I said.
I listened as Horatio spouted out directions for everything.
"I am fine," Lola сказал(-а) as some medical people started doing stuff to her.
"Lola, these people are here to help you," Horatio told.
"No, get this stuff off me," she demanded, "I am okay. Stop it!"
"Lola, listen, these people are taking Ты to the hospital to check Ты out. Now stop being difficult and let these people do their jobs," Horatio сказал(-а) sternly.
"No, I will not go," she сказал(-а) as she sat up, "I am not going. I do not wanna go!"
I watched as Lola struggled against three grown men who were attempting to hold her down. Some how, between all of them she slipped out of their grips. Lola stood up and tried to run out the building but there were way to many cops around.
"No, please do not make me," she begged, "Horatio Ты have got to help me!"
"I am Lola," he сказал(-а) as he approached her cautiously, "by taking Ты to the hospital and making sure nothing is wrong with you!"
"Kyle," Lola yelled out, "help me! Ты have to help me!"
"I will come with you," I stated, "I will be by your side every minute!"
"That is not possible," a medical guy said.
"Then I am not going," she сказал(-а) simply.
"She is going," Horatio said, "even if that means I drag her there myself."
It was so sad to see this. Lola was fighting with every bit she could. They had her in handcuffs and even had some handcuffs around her ankles.
"If she keep resisting like this we are going to have to do something," an officer stated.
"You could point a loaded gun at her and she would still refuse to go," Horatio sighed angrily.
"Just stop," she screamed at the вверх of her lungs.
Everyone in the whole building stopped what they were doing and looked over at Lola.
"Lola, please! This is for your own good," I said, "I will come with you!"
"No, I am not going," she said, "I am not hurt! I am not going to the same hospital as a murderer!"
That was it! That is why she is fighting so hard about not going. Lola does not want to be in the same building as that guy.
Everything was starting to click. The story that Horatio told me about the little girl and her parents being murdered. That was her! She was scared of this man.
"Horatio," I сказал(-а) as I motioned for him to come over.
"What's up," he asked curiously.
"I know why she is fighting against all of Ты all," I stated, "the guy that was running this operation was the guy that killed her parents!"
"Really," he asked shocked, "I thought he looked familiar."
"Yeah, everything just fit together like a puzzle piece. They were talking about it earlier and it just now clicked," I сказал(-а) shocked, "I did not realize that was her. It just does not seem like that happened to her."
"I am so glad Ты told me this," Horatio sighed in relief, "I thought this was because she had not had her medication."
"Lola is in medication," I asked in disbelief, "for what?!"
"I am not all sure," he said, "I believe it has to do with anxiety and they think she is depressed. But I do not see the depression part!"
"Oh okay; Ты better get her to hospital and make sure they check her head," I demanded, "she has hit it a couple of times!"
"Okay, thank Ты for the information," he said, "they will take Ты back to juvenile detention and then there will be a court дата to attend to!"
"Okay, tell Lola that everything will be okay," I said, "and I will see her soon!"
"Okay; I will," Horatio said.
I watched as Horatio walked away with Lola. Well, еще like dragging her. She was still putting up a fight. I had never seen her fight so hard. She did not even fight that hard when those men were making fun of her. Which I am surprised by that . Because I thought she would have just gone off on them them!
"Come with me," an officer said.
I followed him to his cop car and climbed into the back seat. Then we were off; back to jail it was for me.
I really wished I could go to the hospital and see Lola. She is probably freaking out by now. I could just imagine them trying to hold her down as they stuck her with needles for test. I quickly erased that my mind. I wondered why Lola affront being nice to be all the sudden. I mean she hated my guts about a week назад или so.
"Could we go to the hospital," I asked.
"Why," he asked curiously.
"I want to see Lola," I stated, "she is my friend!"
"Umm, no," he said.
"Why not," I ask him full of anger.
"Because Ты have to go directly to juvenile detention," the officer stated.
"Please, cannot we not just run by there," I asked.
"No, end of discussion," he said.
"Fine," I grumbled as I sank low into the backseat.
I stared out the window as we passed the пляж, пляжный and the shopping malls. There were people everywhere. The only difference between them and me; was that they had freedom and I did not. This was depressing. But I only had to wait a couple of years till I turned 18. Then everything would be behind me.
