Rudy Giuliani is tolerable. I don't mind him so much. I tend not to agree with the republican party as a whole, though. But that doesn't mean I love all the democratic candidates. I'm actually not really excited about Hillary. But I do support Obama. I hope he wins the primaries.

I agree with you Cinders. I actually noticed so much change especially after 9/11 in NY. He was so great during that time. I don't follow current events as maybe you do Cinders but he gets my vote.

I agree. I never lived in New York, but it must have been hard to be mayor during that time, and he showed good leadership skills. However, he does use that a lot, as Jon Stewart points out, lol. By the way, I also loved the fact that when he was going to explain why he was pro choice during the debates, the power went out and no one could hear him. That cracked me up.

The thing you never hear about Giuliani and his terrorism leadership skills, though: The NYC Office of Emergency Management was, by his call, located in the World Trade Center. Despite it having been the target of terrorist activity before! Dude is bold and reassuring, but that doesn't actually make him a good leader.

I've been thinking about who I would vote for if a democratic candidate I wasn't fond of won the primaries, so I've been researching the candidates and I changed my mind. I like John McCain actually. He's sincere. Or seems it. Politicians are so slippery. But I wouldn't mind Guiliani either.

Well, he's black, which means the redneck hicks in the south would never let him be elected, so I'm putting my vote where it wont do any damage by supporting one of these other ass holes

I like him more because:

1) Pro-environment
2) He values his reputation
3) His war views don't seem as extreme
4) From what I've seen, he's pretty honest for a politician (wow, is that possible?)
5) Pro-life
6) Experience
7) Leadership ability

Well, he's pretty much the only Republican candidate I'd vote for, from what I've seen.

I don't know very much about him, but he's a Libertarian running on the Republican ticket, so that sounds good to me.

McCain would be the absolute LAST person I would vote for--he'd continue screwing around in Iraq, invade Iran, who knows. Besides which he has that grating voice and unpleasant demeanor, and I am SO ready for a president that I do not have to be disgustingly ashamed of in front of other countries. Yes I know it's silly to vote on appearances, but honestly, last time we didn't and look what happened.
