Why does Vermouth care so much for Shinichi and Ran? Is it just because of that one time save they did for her? Cause for me Vermouth is as ruthless as Gin is, and I think if ever Gin was saved once by those two, he'll shoot them down still and wouldn't even care... so whats up with Vermouth???

As you just said, it was because Shinichi and Ran saved Vermouth. Also, Vermouth kept Conan's real identity as a secret from the Organization. Not to mention, during the first clash of the FBI and the Organization, Vermouth is trying to stop Gin from shooting Kogoro. Also, she claimed that, 'he is her favorite detective', or so I would say.
