I personally prefer adopting a congenial air when I am around others или talking to others, as it is a truth universally acknowledged (I know, I have been Чтение too much Jane Austen), that one must respect and treat others as they would like to be treated. :)
As Ты are aware from our occasional chats, I have had the displeasure of encountering those who intend to disrespect others through blind prejudice and worse. Hence, this has taught me not to treat others in this uncouth manner. :)
I hope I present myself as a cordial, amiable person. :)
