Merida really needed an eye-opener. If she let her sensitivity get in the way of everything else again, she could've potentially kissed her friendships with Pocahontas and Мулан goodbye. Incidentally, Shang would probably still despise her. Truth be told, her mother, Elanor, was right. She WAS еще sensitive than she realized. The young archer was glad she was being taught how to corner her wild emotion. She wrote down everything Pocahontas told her.
"Every time we realize what's bothering us after cornering it, we come up with positive solutions." Pocahontas taught. Merida wrote everything down. "What would be a positive solution?" she asked. "For example, archery. Ты can always go outside and shoot arrows." Pocahontas answered. "And..." Merida proceeded to continue. "Your mother's pregnancy. The joy your new siblings will bring!" Pocahontas answered. Merida suddenly gasped. "What is it?" Pocahontas asked.
"All this time, I forgot to check on her!" Merida shouted. "I'm sure she's doing fine." Pocahontas replied. "She's probably worried sick about me!" Merida сказал(-а) in a nervous tone. "Merida, you're letting your sensitivity get to Ты again." Pocahontas calmly pointed out. "I'm sorry, I-" "Why don't Ты write her a letter to see how she's doing back home?" she cut off Merida. Merida took a deep breath.
"You're right. I'm just gonna go to me room for a bit and I'll be back." she сказал(-а) as she walked off. Just as she was walking to her room, she saw Ping about to climb on the window seal. "Whoa, Lad! We wouldn't want ya to get hurt!" she сказал(-а) as she scooped him up. "Oh, thank you! He's been all over the place!" Мулан сказал(-а) breathlessly. "How long has been doing this now?" Merida asked. "For about a couple weeks." Мулан answered. "Well, do Ты know where I could find meself some ink and paper? I need to write a letter to my mom." Merida said.
"Yes. I'll get some for you." Мулан said. Merida knew if she was about to have a new sibling, she better get some practice in. She proceeded to hold Ping in a fetal position. "Ye know, I haven't held Ты like this since ye were a wee baby." she said. Suddenly, Ping started to squirm. "Okay, I'll let ya down." Merida stated as she carefully placed him on the floor. She kept a sharp eye on the now 6 месяц old.
"I'm back." Мулан stated. "Thank you. I kept an eye on Ping." Merida replied. "Thank you! I'll let Ты write that letter." Мулан said. "How far along is she by the way?" she asked. "She's like Pocahontas, 5 months. Except she's alittle over." Merida answered. She went to her room to write the letter.
The finished product said:
"Dear Mom, how are Ты doing? Is this pregnancy givin' Ты trouble? I've been having a marvelous time in China! Although, Pocahontas had a wee bit of a scare, she's doin' better now. When the new baby arrives, I'd like to help Ты as much as I can. I know yer gonna say I need my rest, but please think about it. Yer gonna need all the extra help! Please tell Dad and the boys hello for me and I miss them. I can't wait to get home!
Sincerely, your loving daughter, Merida."
