Well,this is the first time I've ever done something like this before.
If Ты remember my "Elsa isn't selfish,just flawed"article that I've written 7 months ago,ever since then I've seen еще criticisms against Elsa claiming that she's selfish.And this time,they're even worse,so I decided to make a continuation of that article,a sort of "Sequel Article" (sorry if that sounded stupid).
Firstly,just like before,this is just MY opinion,this isn't the word of God and I'll use all the evidence and logical thinking to "build my case",but I just want to defend a character that means a lot to me.
Second,these will all be opinion based,so if Ты all disagree with me,remember that just because Ты have a different opinion than mine,doesn't mean that I won't respect your opinions или Ты as people.
Okay,let's being:

1."She's the most arrogant Дисней Princess,so I think she's a poor role model and many girls are taking her as one"-First of all,I think these haters should give Elsa a break.So yeah,she had a bit of a crappy (sorry about that) start as a queen,but in the end,we all saw how much of a noble and loving сердце she has and how much she really DOES care for others.
Second,if many girls (and boys) choose to admire her,that's their choice.
Third and most important for this one,as I've сказал(-а) a long time ago,when Elsa became the Snow Queen,her transformation wasn't made to impress some none existing Любовь interest that she had,but because she wanted to express her true self,now that she has a chance to do so,something that she hasn't experienced in many years.That's not arrogance,that's just expressing your true self.

2.At the coronation,Elsa gets so frustrated,turns away and tells her sister that it can't be like this forever.And when Anna announced that she wants to marry Hans,instead of reasoning with Anna,she say she can't marry a man she just man,and turns around and tells her to leave"-Let's analyze this step by step shall we?First,Elsa refuses to Anna's proposition to keep this ambience in the замок forever because she is AFRAID TO HER CORE that she will harm Anna или anyone else with her magic (this way of thinking is actually confirmed to be true at the scene of the ice palace when the two meet again).
Now, when Anna says that she wants to marry with Hans,Elsa IS reasoning with her,just in a way that won't reveal her having powers to a complete stranger.Plus,her saying to Anna that she can't marry a man that she just met is actually VERY reasonable.I mean,Anna means the world to Elsa,and it's highly logical to say that she will protect Anna from ANYTHING that might harm her.AND,when Elsa tells Anna to leave,I hardly believe that she сказал(-а) it because she never wanted to see Anna again.I strongly believe that it's because she wanted Anna to be happy.After all,Elsa has shown to be sensitive to other people's well being,and when she heard Anna saying that "she can't live like this anymore",that made Elsa want to see her little sister happy.That's what I believe.

3."When she let's out an icy blast,the first thing she does is run,she doesn't call Anna over,she doesn't try to explain.There are people who say that "Oh,Elsa is afraid of herself,she wants to keep Arendelle safe".But Elsa gives up on Anna,gives up on being Queen and gives up on controlling herself.People say that she didn't know what was happening in Arendelle.But she's viewing everything beneath her from a balcony on the секунда floor of a palace on вверх of a mountain"-I think that we had rather plenty of conversations about why Elsa was unintentionally selfish (not to mention TERRIFIED) at the time when she fled Arendelle.Besides,I have 2 proofs against her balcony argument:
-1.The "Let It Go" sequence took place at night,plus Холодное сердце took place in Norway and Norway is famous for having large snow on its mountains even during summer(that explains why there was snow during Холодное сердце Fever even though it was The Summer Solstice).And because The North Mountain is one and a half день away from Arandelle.I don't think Elsa was aware that unleashed an eternal winter,especially if she's on a mountain that already has snow and is far away from her kingdom.
-2.If Ты remember the Холодное сердце poster I've shown you,then Ты might have noticed that Elsa's palace was facing some where else and it wasn't facing toward Arandelle.
So yeah,their whole balcony argument doesn't have a leg to stand on!

4."And now Anna compliments Elsa's ability.Elsa says"Thank you,I never knew what I was capable of."She doesn't ask Anna why she's here.Or explain to her what's going on and why she doesn't want to be with her.She simply tells Anna she's a danger to Arendelle,and turns away...again."-I'll admit,in a hindsight,Elsa's first reaction DOES seems a little out of place,especially after everything that has happened until this point, but keep in mind- she is still experiencing a very strong sensation of freedom for the first time in years,and Anna DID complimented on Elsa's ability,something that I'm sure that Elsa, with all the unintentionally bad mantra that she was absorbed from her parents,AND what happened at the party,would have never thought to happen,so yeah,they just прокомментировал(-а) on the compliment, and when Anna starts getting close to her,Elsa remembers that she STILL doesn't know how to control her powers,which becomes the major topic in her mind (that for example would explain why she didn't asked Anna Вопросы like "What are Ты doing here?How did you've found me?And so on).
And finally she turns away because she has a bad habit of avoiding conflict because she is afraid that her powers will be unleashed as a result,a further proof that even though she seems cold,she really doesn't want to harm anyone.

5."If you're going to defend Elsa by saying "Elsa created зефир because she felt threatened,keep in mind that that's something bad her personality.And also,it's not her parents' fault.They treated her with happiness and constantly showed their love.And also,don't say that the only reason зефир chased Anna down the холм, хилл was because Anna threw a snowball at him.He threw them out of the palace anyway.Suddenly,Elsa acts like the most important thing to her in all of her life is Anna.Excuse me?She does have a reason to do what she did,although she definitely could've thought straighter.Elsa flurried her emotions,she couldn't control her powers.Her parents try to sooth her,but she panics.I don't think she was mature for trying.She never figured it out.She overestimates everything,causing her to be unfriendly to Anna.Elsa is the worst type of villain,a villain who wants to be treated like a hero.She wants everyone to treat her like a Queen with no royal responsibilities."-Let's start from the ending for once.Elsa NEVER askes anyone to treat her like a hero,or as a Queen with no responsibilities.Maybe that would have been the case if "Life's Too Short" had made it into the final version of the movie,but that's NOT the case. (Besides,if Ты want to know еще about why "Life's Too Short" wouldn't have worked with the final movie,I made an Статья about that once.You should check that one out of your curious.) She just want's to protect others,and NOT being treated like a monster.In the actual movie (which I'm getting еще and еще suspicious that was NEVER being watched by these haters).
Moving forward,let's be honest here,Marshmallow chased Anna and Kristoff BECAUSE Anna provoked him.You can clearly see that he was about to turn away back to the palace,until Anna's snowball hit him.I mean, do Ты really believe that Elsa would want to harm Anna,even in order to prove her point that it's dangerous to be around her?Just look at Elsa's reaction when Anna collapses at the end of FTFTIF's reprise.She is TERRIFIED when Anna looks like she is suffering.
Honestly,I don't understand why those hater brings up the parents in this paragraph,they seem unnecessary.Elsa is overestimating everything because she got used to bury her emotions deep inside all these years,and now that she experiences freedom,with all the pressure that comes when she realizes that she froze the kingdom,it's natural that she will get stressed to an absurd level.And,I don't know if these haters actually realized that,but Anna was ALWAYS the most important thing in the world for Elsa.Even after Elsa discovers what true freedom is after all these years,keeping Anna (and by extantion,everyone else) safe,STILL remains her вверх priority,and it didn’t started only at the palace scene,it was like that FOR YEARS!

6."Elsa obsessed with power asks "What power do Ты have to stop this winter,to stop me?". The truth is,she has love,more than Elsa was ever willing to give her.People like Elsa еще than Anna because everyone thinks that Elsa is prettier,love her powers and apparently relate to her,also...everyone overrates Let It Go.I think it's senseless how Elsa Влюбленные describe Elsa.They just say they can relate to her,because in the real world she'd be the odd one out(she'd actually throw herself away,and not trying to be social with anyone),and because she's beautiful and she's all icy.They don't have any beautifulqualities to point out about Elsa".-First of all,Elsa isn't obsessed with power.That is a trait that is reserved for someone who wants to get power,like Hans.Elsa IS however obsessed with the damage that her powers can do,and it wouldn't stop bothering her until the end of the movie.And even the answer to ending Elsa's eternal winter was love, it's not like Elsa wasn't willing to give Anna love,considering the mantra that her parents taught her,despite their good intentions,Elsa COULDN'T give Anna the amount of Любовь that she really wanted to give her.
And AGAIN,we encounter some haters who treat relation to fictional characters as something wrong.It's not wrong,and we can relate to anyone as much as we want,at least that's what I believe in.
And besides,I know that I Любовь Elsa the most because I can relate to her the most.True,I do feel like people who like characters like her only because of her looks или her powers are missing something really important,but I,unlike these haters,am not going to attack everyone who loves Elsa in a different way than me.
And to conclude-Elsa has MANY beautiful qualities- She's kind,selfless,caring,artistic,intelligent,down-to-earth,peace-loving,etc.

I сказал(-а) it once and I say it again,"Elsa acts out of fear,lack of knowledge regarding her powers,and over-protectiveness regarding other people's safety",these criticisms were much harder to fight against since they hit in spot that's deep,but I managed to get through.
True,everyone should be entitled to their own beliefs,but that doesn't mean Ты have to shove your beliefs down everyone's throat like some arrogant jerk,because hen people won't listen to Ты или even respect или care about what Ты have to say.
Yes,I know that in order to make the world better,you must accept different ideas.I can understand that,but these hate comments,all of them not just the ones I listed up here but also the ones in my Назад article,aren't ideas,these are just things that are сказал(-а) not for expressing your opinion,but just rant about something like a child because Ты can't accept different ideas.Yes,I did rant a lot about the fact that they're going to Показать a еще playful side of Elsa (which I'm still thoroughly against),that doesn't mean that I don't respect other people's ideas about that.
Like I said,having a different opinion doesn't mean that I'll look at Ты as less of a person.
This is the last time I'll ever say this "Elsa was,isn't and never will be selfish.I hope Ты all understand where I'm coming from and respect my opinion and beliefs about Elsa,Anna and anything having to do with Холодное сердце as a whole.
