“TIAAAAAAAAA! I AM SOOOO EXITED!” yelled Tiana’s friend шарлотка, шарлотта as she tackle glomped and nearly knocked her over. “We’re going to have sosoSO much FUN!!! And look at all the cute boys! BEST. SCHOOL. EVER!”
“I’m real happy your daddy was able to pay for your tuition Lottie- it wouldn’t be the same without you. But could Ты please LET GO?”
“Oops! Sorry, I’m just SUPER exited! Well, I’m gonna have to miss this lil’ ol’ assembly- we gotta get all my stuff to my dorm! See ya later!”
“Yeah, se ya later I guess,” Tiana сказал(-а) as Lottie ran off to yell at the guys who were moving her розовый vanity. She found the nearest seat, nervous about the whole situation. What if she was the only not rich kid there? What if all of the other girls were brats? At least she had шарлотка, шарлотта to keep her company . . .
Tiana wasn’t the only one worried. In the corner of the auditorium stood a blue clad redhead on her cell phone, whispering hurriedly. “Yes daddy, I’ll be good. No, I won’t eat fish! What do Ты think I am, some sort of cannibal? Sure, I’ll miss Ты too. Say hello to the girls for me, okay? Alana сказал(-а) what now? Me, fall in Любовь with a human?! Yeah right. Talk to Ты later- bye!” She hit the end call button and sighed. When would he stop treating her like a child? She was glad he had let her come here- even if it was for all the wrong reasons.
Her father, King Triton, had agreed to make her human and let her go to this human school so that she would learn how terrible they really are. Too bad all she had seen so far was wonderful things. Elevators, cars, TVs! How could humans possible be bad? There was only one thing that could ruin this experience- the fact that she was really a mermaid. If anyone found that out, she would be called a freak! She just wouldn’t tell anybody. What could go wrong?
“Attention students! Please, take a seat!” сказал(-а) woman from the stage, dressed in all black. Ariel quickly took the nearest seat, Далее to a brunette girl with a low ponytail and a book on her lap.
“Hi!” she whispered.
“Shhhh,” сказал(-а) the girl. “The headmistress is about to speak,” Then, as sort of a side note, she added, “I’m Belle by the way,”
“I’m Ariel. Nice to meet you.” she responded. Then she shut up, because the assembly was about to begin.
“Good morning to all of Ты new students! We hope Ты all have an acceptable год here at W.E.D. Academy. I am your headmistress, Mallory F. Eecent, but Ты are to address me as Headmistress или Headmistress Mal. We’re about to give out room assignments for those who haven’t requested them early, but before I do, just let me say that I expect big things from this class. Do not disappoint,” Headmistress Mal’s voice was sickeningly sweet and absolutely fake- everyone in the room knew that she hadn’t meant one word she said. “Now, Mr. Ratcliffe, if Ты would please read out room assignments,” she said. A rather large man wearing a purple suit and pigtails stepped forward, followed by a scrawny man with a ponytail and a yellow suit.
“First, we’ll call the girls. If I say your name, Ты will be dorming in the Rose Room. Belle, Tiana, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine, Mulan, and Pocahontas, please Сообщить to the exit doors behind me- Miss Tremain will escort Ты to your room.”
The nine girls grabbed their things and shuffled to the кислый looking aristocratic old woman by the exit door. “Follow me, and make sure to keep up,” she snapped. Then she opened the doors and started off, the girls following suit.
She looked upon them with disdain- did none of the teachers want to be here at all wondered жасмин as she walked down the hall? She surveyed her roommates, seeing if she could sum them up with a glance. She saw a girl with short, black hair and another with flowing golden hair staying extremely close to each other, holding animal cages. The black haired girl had a bird, and the blonde had- a squirrel? Okay then. They must be a couple of sweethearts, she thought. Then, to her left, she noticed an Asian girl avoiding eye contact with everyone and muttering to herself- жасмин quickly surmised that this was her first time away from Главная and she was a bit insecure. Nearby walked a black girl looking around at everything, avoiding eye contact and whistling. жасмин could tell by her two slightly beat up suitcases that she must feel awkward in the situation- everyone else seemed perfectly fine with the chandeliers and paintings of the teachers on the walls, and the poor girl probably wasn’t used to all of those nice things.
Suddenly she heard someone chatting; she looked over to see two girls, a redhead dressed in blue and a brunette in all yellow, discussing what seemed like mythology. The brunette held the school code of conduct in one hand- ah, thought Jasmine, a goody two shoes. The redhead was extremely excited and bursting with charisma, and жасмин thought she might be a cool person to hang out with. Staying near Miss Tremein was a sweet dirty blonde pulling at her юбка nervously and looking up at their guide. Something was bothering her, but what, жасмин couldn’t guess. Then, she turned to the last member of the group- a tall Native American girl with flowing black hair, oozing confidence. жасмин wasn’t sure what it was about her that made her seem so cool and collected, but she somehow was.
She couldn’t wait to get to their room and see if she was right. After years caged in the great Palace of Agrabah, жасмин had learned how important a simple gesture could really be. She couldn’t really talk to servants- it felt too weird, because they knew her world and she didn’t know theirs at all. But she could tell by their gestures how they felt, and would sort of interact with them with her own body language- a small wink, a quick smile. еще recently though, жасмин had been looking out her balcony, seeing what the lines of suitors that came to call were really like when they weren’t trying to impress her. Most of their servants were stiff and informal, and the princes treated them like dirt. They often lifted their noses at Agrabah’s poor, sick, and hungry. жасмин couldn’t understand how her father could ever want her to marry someone like that. She was lucky she had been allowed to come to W.E.D. High, although her father had demanded his Vizier Jafar take a job as a teacher of Government and Economics at the school and so he could watch over her.
жасмин was startled out of her musings when she heard a bored voice. “Here Ты go girls, the Rose Room. The entire East Wing is girls’ dorms, and the entire West Wing is for the boys. The rule Список is on вверх on the bookshelf. I hope Ты find the accommodations to your liking,” she said, giving the dirty blonde with the юбка a strange look. Then she walked off.
The redhead and brunette went in first, and then the Native American girl. Then жасмин walked in, looking at the floor. The anticipation was killing her, but she wanted this moment to be special- her first moment of real freedom. Finally, after what seemed like forever, she looked up and gasped.
