It's obvious that they're purple in some shots, but in others her eyes look really dark and I can't tell.

I heard someone on tumblr say her eyes probably purposely change color in the movie:

-the magic made them purple (purple is a magic color too)
-the fairies made them brown/black to make her blend in a bit better
-they turned blue when they spell was broken

Though some says her eye colour is blue. And indeed when she woke up after being kissed by Prince Phillip, her eyes are blue. But usually and in re-designed, her eyes are violet. Besides, violet is cooler XD
