Sometimes I feel like she gets more love than she should but she's my 2nd favorite so I think she gets enough love.

I think she's overrated. She seems to be at the top of everyone's lists.

LOL, who is picking underrated?! Stop rigging the polls you guys. "underrated" isn't a compliment and "overrated" isn't an insult.

People here and outside always treat her like a divine goddess and vastly superior to every other DP except maybe Poca, Belle and Elsa. She's widely seen as the best heroine, role model, etc. and people exaggerate how cool she is just because they love what her unlikely accomplishments. They don't care at all about her personality.

They're only insulting if you take it that way. Look in the dictionary: "have a higher opinion of (someone or something) than is deserved." Lots of good things can be overrated. It just means the hype is exaggerated.

I think she deserves the love she gets.

I think she's one of the few characters that gets the right about of recognition for how great she is as a character.

I adore her (and not just because she's "strong, independent, and bad***" like some people, mostly outside of Fanpop do)
Even I admit, she gets a lot of recognition. She does deserve a lot, but sometimes it goes a little far.

I feel she's one of the only princesses who deserves the recognition she gets. When she starts, she is literally the same as any other modern girl. Awkward, forgetful, even disappointing in how she ruins her chances with the matchmaker.

But she rises above all of her problems and does whatever she can to protect those she loves. I could only hope to be that courageous and honorable.

I mean... how can you not like Mulan? JK :3

AudreyFreak: I'm picking this base off of what I see outside of fanpop for the most part. and she does NOT get all the hype your saying she does. If you have ever looked anywhere off of Fanpop you'll see the people that always say bad things about the DP's never and acknowledge her and just go on saying that DP's are weak. If anyone in the comments even tries to SAY what about Mulan people usually respond with, "but she's not a princess" and that makes me so angry. plus not only that, but I hear people praising the new addition to the lineup for getting out of that weak stage (although I like the new ones) I never hear anyone even TALK about Mulan in that sense.
Just because YOU truly don't like her doesn't mean that you have to go on talking about her like this. And actually I DO like her personality. It's fun, sweet and smart while courageous, so speak for yourself.

She is perfectly rated in my opinion.
