Well, it's a good thing that he's a fictional character, because I'd hate to see how you treat people with his moral character in real life. Quit slut-shaming him. Even if he was real, it'd be none of your business.

He's a freaking animated character! There's a difference between fictional and real. If the person was real than I wouldn't give a crap if they had sex with as many people as they wanted (unless they were having sex with someone who is married, engaged, or is dating someone else) because it's none of my business. What a real person does with their personal and sexual life is their business. But Naveen is not a real person, so I can say whatever the hell I want about him. Besides, a slut is someone who wants to have sex with as many people as they want and has absolutely no shame at all, people usually mistake a slut with a girl who dresses in sexy attire. Naveen seems to fit this category because he comes to New Orleans to marry Lottie so he can be rich but he's constantly flirting with random women he meets on the street, Tiana included. When Tiana reminds him that he's getting married he's all like "Oh, yeah." Yeah, he's a really moral character. NOT! What are you, a Sunday school teacher?

It's still not cool to slut-shame, okay? I never said that Naveen was a "moral" guy, but either way, you should be ashamed of yourself for being in the habit of judging people based on their sex lives. Clearly, it's deeply ingrained into you, because otherwise you wouldn't be applying your toxic thinking to the lives of animated characters.

Doesn't matter what you say, using the word "slut" still reinforces normalizing the word. Also saying "man-slut" reinforces that sluts are women by default. Please don't use that word, it's offensive and unnecessary. Whether or not you like Naveen is irrelevant.
Also, if someone wants to have sex with as many people as possible with no shame at all, that's their prerogative. What does it bother you? Why do you care if he has sex with lots of people? I love sex. Sex is enjoyable, fun, and pleasurable. If I were having sex with a lot of people, would you say I'm a slut, Kataralover? Also, I flirt a LOT. Guess I'm a slut by your logic.
This is the same thing as using the word "bitch"-- it's a word that should be completely eliminated from everyone's vocabulary.

I did a slut-shaming and yet you retaliated with calling me stupid and didn't think that maybe I might take it to heart and think that I might have experienced cruel bulling. but honestly the comment here that annoyed me the most was hatelarxene's. It's just so close-minded. I would definitely understand Naveen getting criticism IF he was in a relationship/married and was sleeping with others but as is this case (at the beginning of the movie) he's not and he's just enjoying himself. No one deserves to be "slut-shamed", Naveen is immature but that's it. Belle likes books, Naveen likes sex. lol

@hatelarxene I just need to say this, just because someone has sex before marriage and/or enjoys sex does not make them a "slut" and treating them as such is degrading and ignorant. Someone who "sells" their body, like Kim Kardashian, is not a slut either, they are just a person looking for publicity. You have no right to judge them.
