I was about to say no...then I remembered a situation in which I described Aurora as being shy, and someone jumped in saying that I didn't really have proof of this shyness and that her behavior around Phillip didn't count since she was startled.
They were right, of course. XD
The whole Frozen phenomenon and its staunch fans hated anybody who disliked that movie. Thus began my shift into analyzing the DPs and drawing comparisons between them for each and every movie. Before Frozen came, I had no interest in analyzing anything about Disney. But with the absolute vitriol that the Frozen fanbase brought, I soon began analyzing my own favorites from childhood, and then went further...to examine all of the movies all over again...in the vain hope that I could establish why I didn't find Frozen "subversive" or "new" or even "worthy of acclaim." So yes, I'm guilty. But way before Frozen, there was no mass hysteria over a princess movie. There was no point to even analyzing Disney movies in my brain. They were entertaining, nothing more. You could say that Frozen started it all: the criticism of all prior DP films, the harshest of dialogues, the angriest of fans on either side of the aisle, and the rift created along generational viewer lines, etc.
And like 3xZ, I also over-analyze other movies, TV series, and books haha...
(worse: songs included XP)
They were right, of course. XD
