Disney usually does a good job with executing fairy tales, but in this case, the original tale from Hans Christian Andersen ( his one exceptional tale, were the main character doesn't die) is so much better than the watered down, inconsistent plotline of Frozen. The frenzy and acclaim surrounding Frozen was undeserved.

^completely agree. The Snow Queen would have been a much better story and more progressive than Frozen claimed to be.

I like Frozen, but I would have loved to see a more faithful take on The Snow Queen.

I don't think they need to re-adapted the Snow Queen story. There are too many other adaptations of the story that most of them are similar with the original one, which nothing special and somewhat bored to me. (Still remembered the animated movie adaptation of Snow Queen in 2012)

Frozen is different. It was modificated to more fresh, new story and new moral message about love between two sisters. It's the classic fairytale that adapted into a new version that more modern and more universal for everyone.

Since I love Frozen I'm going with this option, although I would have really liked to see a closer adaptation to the Snow Queen from them too.
