I usually get compared to Megara whenever I'm compared to Disney characters...and at my old job at Disney they often called me Elsa because 1) I looked like her and 2) I was/am an "ice queen" lmao. I'd like to think that now I act like Belle. It just depends on my level of comfort.

What do you guys think? I am pretty friendly but I am also reserved and don't talk much. I might get nervous and painfully shy. I generally too observant if meeting anyone for the first time, and also a bit of a naysayer!

I'm sure I come off as a Tiana to some. I'm friendly with my customers but don't go out of my way to talk to some of the guys who work here because some are flirty. Once I didn't hear a guy say hi to me in passing and he asked my coworker if I was mute :/ I talk easily to people who don't embarrass me or are just easy to talk to. I've become a little better at being outgoing as I grew up and got away from school.

Small talk is hard sometimes but I honestly don't want to be seen as snobby.

This is me exactly. If the person I meet is talkative though then I will reciprocate.

I think a lot of people mistake it for rudeness or disinterest but it's (..mostly) not my intention, I'm just not good with meeting new people bc of anxiety/shyness & need time to be comfortable with someone. But I always try to be polite, so Rapunzel's option kind of fits too. It's not just new people though, even with my actual friends I can be standoffish, it's hard for me to maintain solid friendships for this reason (sorry, life story)

It depends a bit on whether I'm meeting new people at work or in my other life. Obviously I make more of an effort at work to seem friendly, but I am always a bit reserved nevertheless. I am always polite, but I think sometimes I might come across as standoffish when I meet people outside of work. It's just shyness, really.
