Agree, weak Jafar(actually all of the characters as kinda poorly choosen), Genie is just....so horrible,I can't even have the words >.> And the Indian theme(in outfits,landscapes,architectures etc.) is just so sad, they're in Arabia for goddess sake not in India.....
My fav DP movie and they did such a bad live-action out of it.

The Genie didn't look too good in the trailer.

Im optimistic because I really want it to be good Aladdin is my favorite Aladdine and Jasmine my favorite couple Jasmine is my second favorite princess after Ariel and she is my twin haha
The guy looks like Aladdin so hopefully he will parallel the original character too same with Jasmine she doesn't look like Jasmine *sigh* but I hope they picked her because she was the best to portray her persona and she does her character justice

No kidding a guy that looks like Aladdin liked me but we weren't compatible but it would have been cool if Aladdin and Jasmine doubles dated haha..
