PrueFever, why do you not understand the concept of Mulan as a princess? We have explained why she is a princess multiple times. Just because Mulan is a princess it doesn't mean that Alice is.

But I still don't think Mulan is a Princess like the rest... They married a prince or was born a princess. Mulan did neither, that's why I don't think she's a Princess. And I know it's because her movie was Popular enough and they wanted to have a diffrent princess... And that's fine, but still.. ;/

Also, we don't have a CHOICE who we consider a Disney Princess. Disney chose them. That's like saying I consider Justin Timberlake one of the Spice Girls because he can sing and dance too!

You say that because Alice wasn't born a princess and didn't marry a prince, like Mulan, she can be considered a disney princess too. By that logic, here's a list of other characters that can ALSO be considered disney princesses:

-Iago
-The mirror from Snow White
-The bird who gets shot from Bambi
-Rapunzel's frying pan
-Fagin
-The singing chandelier from BATB
-Georges Hautecourt
-The fat guy from "A Goofy Movie" who says "I'm gonna sit on my butt"

Sorry but she isn't. She's only a Princess of Heart in Kingdom Hearts but that's it. I don't even know what she is. At the end of the movie, I see a tower in the background but that clear anything up for me.

Yeah, I agree with princesslullaby. The Powhatans vote on their leaders. Therefore Poca was not really a princess, and was not in line to be in any position of power. And yet she is a princess to you. Why? What's the big difference?

@firegirl: You shouldn't question others calling Native American people "Indian", it was the Politically Correct term for a long time and is used directly in the film to name their race, influencing the audience and such. Just because a group of people decided that the race is called something different it doesn't mean we should criticize people for not using the currently PC term. I'm not having a go, I've just noticed you've said it several times before and wanted to question it. I for one call Pocahontas' race Native Americans, I never refer to them as Indians any more but I don't think its so terrible if people do use that term.

Well, the reason I considered Pocahontas a princess is because in my country, in the past the chief of a tribe was technically a king as he was the main leader. So, Pocahontas being the daughter of Chief Powhatan is kind of a princess.

Also the reason of calling Native Americans "Indians" was because they thought the place was India. Personally I called them Native Americans. (Hope I don't offend anyone with my explanation nor my opinion.)

And Alice isn't a princess. She's a heroine in her movie.
