Hi guys, I had watch both versions of this timeless classic and here are my review, opinions and comparisons on both films.

The Story-Line

Both films are faithful towards the original story by J.M. Barrie, the 2003 version has scenes especially with the Darling brothers. The part where they chanted 'I do believe in Fairies!' is really catchy, and I wish that it was part of the 1953 version too!
The only difference is that at the end, the Darling parents adopted the Остаться в живых Boys in the 2003 version. It was also sad that Wendy never saw Peter ever again! (2003 Version)

The Characters

I absolutely adore Captain Hook in the 1953 version, he has some sense of humour, especially with Mr Smee! In the 2003 version, he does not have any sense of humour and I absolutely adore how Jason Isaac portrayed him. In fact, I keep thinking of him as Lucius Malfoy!
Peter Pan in the 2003 version is еще calm and is devastated that Tinker колокол, колокольчик, белл had died, prompting the famous chant!
Finally, Wendy and her brothers still remains the same. As mentioned, her younger brothers get еще screen-time in the 2003 version! (tied)

Do Ты Believe in Magic?

While I think that the 2003 version is darker than the Дисней version if I recalled, the 1953 version will always remain in my heart!

Voters Opinion
Unlike the other hawiian girls the voters actually find her pretty. I was surprise that she beast Tiger Lily for the вверх 10 spot, but I'm happy she did. Even though she has a big nose people stil find her pretty. However not everyone thinks she's cute...

Here's some difference I found between the Little Mermaid book, and movie, here they are.

1. In the movie, The Little Mermaid has a name (Ariel, but in the book, she's just called The Little Mermaid.

2. A girl finds the prince on the берег after the Little Mermaid saves him, but, in the movie, Max and Grimsby finds him.

3.In the book, The Little Mermaid has 5 sisters, and lives with her father, and her grandmother. In the movie, she has 6 sisters, and only lives with her father.

4. The sea witch cuts the little mermaid's tongue off, instead of, like in the movie, putting it in a necklace.

5. When...

Hi guys, it's been ages since I haven't written a comparison Статья and since I'm going to watch The Lion King live-action reboot in July with my younger autistic brother and our dad.

The Story

While the story is original 20%, some of Ты may not know that The Lion King is loosely based on Shakespeare's "Hamlet: Prince of Denmark". Only this time, the setting was changed from 14th century Denmark to Africa and from humans to animals!
The famous ghost scene in both stories play an essential part of the story, especially in the Lion King. Since Simba needs to assume his responsibilities as...

It's been a long time since I Опубликовано something here, hasn't it? Honestly, I had just about forgotten I had an account here, but luckily, I did write something Disney-related not too long ago, so I'll post it here as well:

Recently, I discovered a semi-sequel to Pinocchio that takes place a год later titled Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night. All I saw was this really unsettling clip and I had to find it, and through what I can only assume is pure luck, I found a way to watch this film in its entirety despite it having never gotten a DVD release here. I have to say, this was an interesting...

Hello, welcome to a Дисней Theory! (This might be the only one I do, but if Ты like this, then request me to do more)

Today, we're discussing the portals / realm in Big Hero 6. They were originally used to teleport things (like Callaghan's daughter!), but they lead to another realm. That reminds me of the Negative Zone...

The Negative Zone first appeared in Fantastic Four Vol 1 Issue #51 (June 1966). The Negative Zone is an antimatter universe which parallel to Earth. It's ruled by competing warlords, most notably Annihilus and Blastaar. Ты might recall it as the alternate world in the new...
