In the past few months, we've all received many different gifts. I've saved the best for last.

Happy New Year!

Alright so this is just for a laugh really, what Ты change isn't permanent anyway, only Ты cans ee it and when Ты refresh everything will change to normal again anyway so it s just for a laugh really so I'm going to teach Ты how to Редактировать Fanpop клубы for your eyes only, Ты can have a bit of fun with things Ты hate или love!

First Ты will be needing:

- Google Chrome
- A Fanpop Account

Open up Chrome

Go to Fanpop and log in

Go to the club Ты want to Редактировать (or maybe even someones profile, или yours)

Right click on something Ты want to change (For example, the Фан count) and click Inspect Element...

if we wanted to change the Фан count, let's say the Фан count on the group we wanted to change was 200. Look for '200' in the inspect element database thingy...

Then Редактировать it and press enter или f10 to save it

Ты can do this with pretty much anything (see my example)

Okay, for the past two months I have steadily grown addicted to this website. Maybe it's all the free time I have these days, или maybe it's just I have an addictive personaily. It could of course be that this website is pure brilliance and I constantly think about it. Does that make me sad? No way! Because I can bet I'm not the only one. So here's a checklist of how to know when you've crossed the line between fanpop-addict, and totally-crazy. :)

1. Ты form an opinion on something and think "I'm going to immediately make a pick about this"...and then the rest of your plan for the день goes out...

Hey everyone,

I felt like Письмо about the constant reposting of Иконки from livejournal, because I have become a very active lj user in the past months and I know of many lj people who are annoyed as hell to see their Иконки Опубликовано here.

First of all I'd like to say that I did it too. Yes, I took Иконки that were Опубликовано on livejournal and Опубликовано them here with credit.
Now Ты might say: Okay, but if people credit them, why is there a problem? It's not as if the lj people own the original pictures they icon.
This is of course true, but I think it is еще about respect and being polite.

Pros and Cons (and Questions) About the New Rating System

Earlier tonight, the ratings system of Fanpop experienced a massive overhaul. No longer can Ты rate content on a scale of one to five (ala YouTube), but if Ты like content, Ты can "like" it (ala Facebook), или "be a fan" of it.

Dave gave a very good, logical explanation for the change to help assuage some fears and answer some questions:

Re-reading the various Статьи about promoting клубы on Fanpop, it occurred to me that some fairly basic ideas were missing for promoting the клубы Ты like (not just the ones Ты create, but any клубы Ты enjoy).

Many of the Назад etiquette Статьи and Форум threads have described things to avoid in promoting a club, as well as suggestions for things to do. For once, I'm not going to rant about undesirable behavior (that's the plan, anyway), but just keep the focus on other things Фаны can try to promote their Избранное clubs. I hate those darned internet predators, don't you?

I just logged onto Fanpop about a half час назад and discovered something extremely profane and inappropriate on the YouTube spot. Due to it's heavily pornographic material, the video was deleted shortly thanks to several reports from some handy fellow Fanpoppers.

It was Отправлено by a user of the name bon8699. I reported this user 3 times and I expect him to be banned for a long, long time.

The reason I am so annoyed that this was Отправлено is that this is not some pornography site. And this is most certaintly not NewGrounds, where Ты can Отправить Обои like this as much as Ты please without...

Basic Spelling 101

I swear to whatever higher power Ты believe in that I am going to injure someone with all the shoddy spelling going around. Yes abbreviations are easier (in a sense) but it looks like a 5 год old wrote it and a lot of people don't understand it. So lets first go over some abbreviations that we should cut out of our vocabulary here at Fanpop when Ты post content...

u = you
r = are
srs = serious
2 = to или too (using it as "two" is fine)
plz = please

If Ты actually take that .5 of a секунда to type the whole word people will look at your content, Комментарий and such a lot еще and with nicer comments...
