I haven't seen anyone gloat about owning a spot to be honest.

People never say that 2 me unless it is a spot for them. (like mine.The Animegrl52p spot).

I got a semi-rude message once about a girl who 'owned' a certain spot, and I tried to explain that you don't really own a spot on Fanpop, you just create it. But usually I just kind of roll my eyes and move on... It's not worth arguing about.

its annoying when people talk aboot it and therefore spread false information like "only the owner of a club can change the banner" or when they think they are the boss "i own this club so i make the rules".
it just ticks me off when people actually DONT KNOW and yet answer peoples questions!

If tha spot is about themselves(like chrie spot thet's my spot)it's fine coz tha spot is real abot themselves

I little bit because once a spot is created it belongs to the community. I don't like it when people feel too possessive. It's just against the spirit of Fanpop IMO. This is a place to share things with fellow fans, not lord it over everyone else. I've had creators tell me to let them know when I found content for the spot...so they could add it [instead of me]. Wth? I just ignored them.

I've seen in a couple instances where the "owner" tries to MOD his/her spot. Especially in comments areas. I find this hilarious since they have no functional power over others content, or opinions. Its like trying to mod Youtube when all you have is a simple account.

Yes, it annoys me. Even if they created a spot it belongs to Fanpop. FANPOP IS THE OWNER. When some kids make a spot (very often a duplicate, because they didn't like the original one) they call themselves owners, make their rules and even want to decide who can join this club or not. Simply pathetic.

It doesn't bother me at. Half the time I don't even pay attention to it anyway.
