Belle Boyd was a Confederate spy. I may not agree with her political views but she believed in them- and acted on them. Gotta love a woman who will lay her life on the line for what she believes in.

Someone that really sticks out to me is Joan of Arc, she led the French army to several important victories during the Hundred Years' War - among many other important things. Not to mention she was very young when she did this like in her teens. I think she is one of the most amazing, strong, brave women to have ever lived. :)

Alice Paul- The woman who rescued the woman suffrage movement and made sure women got the vote.
Elizabeth Cady Stanton-First president of the National Woman's Suffrage Association.
Annie Sullivan- Helen Keller's teacher.
Harriet Tubman- Underground Railroad conductor, Army scout, African-American suffragette.
Helen Keller--deaf and blind educator who fought for the rights of people with vision and hearing problems.
