Daniel Radcliffe interview about DH part 2?(SPOILER)

In an interview with Movie Magic Mag, Daniel Radcliffe сказал(-а) that Voldemort tried to beat Harry to death..
He states 'He(voldemort) just tries to kill Harry, physically, just by beating him up...'
Does this happen in the books? It's been a while since I've read them.....

Umm.. no that didnt happen in the books, sounds awful actually so they dont just duel, they have a перфоратор, удар, пунш up match too thats very muggle of them
