Why I prefer The Book Ron to the movie Ron

I just love the name Ron :)

So as I'm saying, Ron is one of those many characters that I preferred in the Книги , but the difference in the movie and the book Ron- its superior. In fact, I can say I am neutral about the movie Ron a bit while liking the Книги Ron.

So first of all, the Фильмы portrayed Ron's relationships very, very BAD. I think the director shipped Harry with Hermione, because their chemistry in the movie is such a blessing while Ron just appears from nowhere in the movies. Mostly like everyone, I started on the series by watching the Фильмы when I was a bit of younger, and I was soo confused when Ron and Hermione ended up together.

I mean, the person who always stays with Hermione in the Фильмы is Harry. She has all her happy moments with him, also constantly kisses, hugs him all over while only arguing with Ron. The Фильмы made Ron a huge jerk in the 4th movie, how rude he was when he tried to ask Hermione out to the Yule Ball. Shortly, Ron sucked at relationships in the movies. The Фильмы also made him look like he got Lavender from nowhere, BUT. Ron actually started dating Lavender because Hermione was out with Viktor so he tried to make her jealous. That's quite obvious for the book readers because the Книги include Ron's feelings on Hermione and Krum. However, someone watching Harry Potter can easily think Ron is a bad boy playing around with girls. ( An assumption I made when I watched the Фильмы first)

In the books, Hermione and Ron have chemistry. I still ship Hermione with Harry though, but still Ромиона (Рон и Гермиона) makes sense. The book Ron is also always willing to be with Hermione, he doesn't go and play with Hermione's feelings like the movie Ron или Ginny Weasley.

I don't know if this makes any sense to you, but the book Ron was also еще loyal to Harry than the movie Ron. Oh, of course nobody can be еще loyal than Hermione ( how she didn't leave him in his bad moments, just cute) And even though Ron sometimes felt bad being with Harry because he was a wealthy wizard, Ron's sadness was way еще detailed and understandable in the books. Nothing makes up for how he left Harry in the middle when he went searching for the horcruxes, but he still was a good friend to Harry since the beginning.

The adventures are just a big no without him..

LowriLorenza89 Agreed. I'm not sure if all the film writers did ship Harmony (though I'm pretty certain that the writer/writers for the 2 Deathly Hallows ones did) or if they were trying to push the idea of a love triangle which doesn't exist in the books because that kind of thing sells. Good point about book Ron being more loyal. One part which really stands out to me is that in the POA film, Ron's line about Sirius needing to get through them to get to Harry is given to Hermione as well. I'm sure there are other, similar moments but that's the one I remember. Some of Ron's cleverer/explaining moments are given to Hermione too, for example when she explains the meaning of Malfoy's "mudblood" insult in COS. In the book she doesn't recognise the word but just guesses the insult from everyone's reactions. It's like the film writers forgot that Ron was the only one of the trio who was raised in the magical world and should really be the one explaining general magical knowledge. Harry also gets along best with Ron and misses him more when they do argue. That's harder to convey in films than in books though.
