Гарри Поттер One little Вопрос on the fnal book...

Remember in the beginning when Moody, Lupin, Ron and all the others come to rescue Harry, and they say he can´t use magic because he´s not 17, but all the others can? Isn´t Hermiones birthday in september? Doesn´t that mean she´s not allowed to use magic either?! Am I wrong here? Just can´t let that go... So PLEASE explain this to me....!

hermione was 17 in september the year before, ron in march the that year and then harry a few days after the rescue

you have to already be 11 when school starts, she just misses the deadline so she has to wait for the following year...
