Ian Somerhalder is HOT, but he isn't what I pictured my Ian to look like. I picture Ian with a sweeter face to go with his personality. Somerhalder looks like a badass. Like hplotr91 said, James Marsden would actually be my first choice, the Drew Fuller.

I totally thought Ian was blonde, with blue eyes and for some reason lol i picutred a headband type of bandana wrapped around his forehead. I love Ian! hes adorable =] and the closest one to Ian with these picures is Drew Fuller although Ian Somerhalder is very good looking, he just doesnt seem like the type that would get dirty and fight hard on a raid lol.

I haven't thought of a perfect one, but I would go with Kellan Lutz. He looks very sweet, though attractive, is tall, pale, blue eyed, has full lips like Ian is supposed to have by description in the book. Only thing he needs is hair color change, but it wouldn't be a first. He does look like he could easily carry Wanda as I imagine Ian as quite bulky. Supposedly its hard to tell them apart with Kyle and Kyle is supposed to be BIG. For reference link and link and link For god's sake, he's even got dimples! he is the best one! did anybody of you saw him acting?! he acts everytime perfect! besides him does all other actors or actresses look fake when they act. i always imaged him as my ian o´shea and will be more than pissed if he don´t get the role! maybe i will not even watch it if there will be no perfect ian for me :(

I have never consider this option before but now I can only see Jared as Ian.
