No,he's half human and half demon,I don't see how he would even be a pet, as I said before he's part human,he can talk,he can do practically anything he should be treated as nothing less than a person,and besides I can't really see him as a pet,nor should he be one and treating Inuyasha as a pet is not only insulting but downgrading he doesn't deserve that.
