Invader Zim Fancharacters are about OC's for the lovely morbid show, Invader Zim. Who is in this group? Mostly younger kids, around 12 или so. There are a few older teens here and there, as well. What is this group's purpose? To collect and share Invader Zim original art. Whether it be canon characters, или Фан made characters.
This brings us to the Далее topic.. The average user. An average user is no doubt female, though if your male, that's okay too. Lets say, Ты just turned 13 или 14. Ты signed up, maybe a while ago. And Ты joined this group. The first thing your going to do is browse through some stuff, maybe making a post или two. When you're еще comfortable with everything and everyone here, you'll start contributing. Making some "picks" here, giving "answers" there. And maybe linking to a video или two. You're doing great. Your temperament is в общем и целом, общая good, people like what Ты are putting up, and dare Ты say it, Ты have some new friends.
Now, here comes the main topic. ART. ART is everywhere. Music, literature, and, paintings или drawings. Ты listen to music, Ты read literature, and Ты draw. Draw draw draw. Maybe your art isn't that good. Maybe Ты want to get better but your not, after practicing and practicing. So.. Ты browse through others art, on say, deviantart, или furaffinity, whatever you're into. And Ты "SAVE AS". Uh oh. Ты just украл, палантин something.
Stealing, in general, is bad. Ты shouldn't steal from stores, Ты shouldn't steal from friends, and shouldn't steal from family members. And Ты definitely shouldn't steal from STRANGERS ONLINE.
Gee, this is fun. Save as'ing a bunch of art Ты like. :) Well, why not? The person who drew it will never know. It's just on your hard drive... Then Ты get the idea, hey, I want to Показать others the kind of art I like! Maybe its Аниме art, maybe its cartoon art, well, whatever it is, it's yours now.
Wrong. Its NOT yours. It has never been. As soon as Ты hit Save as, Ты have committed a crime. A crime which Ты can be sued или arrested for, possibly. What did Ты do? Ты went against copyright. Anything that anyone posts online that was created by THEIR hands, art for a strong example, is automatically copyrighted. Some people use a creative commons license. Meaning Ты can take the picture and Редактировать it, but do not sell it. Or, for the allowance of Фан art. But most don't. Ты take their art, and Ты украл, палантин from them.
This is the absolute worst thing Ты can do. What would your parents think? What would your Друзья think? What would OTHERS think? The best thing Ты can do is to Удалить the picture off your hard drive, and remove it as soon as possible from wherever Ты Опубликовано it online. If the original artist knows Ты украл, палантин their pictures, Ты best be ready to apologize. Running, deactivating, hiding, whatever Ты want to call it, is bad. And makes Ты seem untrustworthy.
Ты may not care now, since you're just a kid. But if Ты want a job later on in life. The people hiring Ты CAN pay companies such as Google to get archived information about you. Your theft of art would no doubt be there.
No "personal" information is sacred, once Ты post it online. Once Ты do, it will always be there. Say Ты live in Bakersfeild, California. Ты put that on your facebook. It's there forever. или Ты Список your full name, age, address, so on. Guess who just now has your information. :) Google, Yahoo, Facebook, I could Список more. Big corporate companies and websites store all your inputted information in an encrypted archive in their databases. Anyone with enough money can purchase access to these databases, and to your information.
Ты dumbass. But, I'm just a kid! Surely they won't do this to me! Believe me when I say they would do it to a newborn infant. All these companies care about is moneymoneymoney. They don't care about the individual. Whoever pays, get's the honey.
Back to art theft, now. There are several on here who have been victims of art theft. And there are also several art thieves as well on here. I'm not going to Список names. Ты yourself know who Ты are.
What is the point of this article? The point is to drive the art thieves hiding around Invader Zim Fancharacters out into the open. So they can know what they did wrong, and stop stealing.
But its so much fun! And what can they do, they can't hurt me! I'm online! No, but they CAN hurt Ты in other means. They can yell at Ты online, they can send people, trolls, after you. They can RUIN you.. And if they so wish they can even sue you, for money или objects. ((I'd like to mention now that the case of anyone suing another over this crime is very few..
