i play bass as my main instrument but i play a little piano

Cool! (I have a bass but I hardly ever play it...) Do you know how to read sheet music or do you play by ear?

I don't play anything except for the guitar (and I just started so there's no way I can play Maiden yet) but sometimes I try to match Bruce's vocals with karaoke (I can't :P)

Same here. Learning to play by ear is really frustrating at first but once you get it, it's a great skill to have. : )

Some of their songs actually sound surprisingly good on piano.

Maybe I'll learn to play some of the guitar solos... on the clarinet. It could work.
