I just finished the book a couple of weeks назад and I'm 16. And I think a recommendation would depend on you're sister's maturity level and if Ты think it's something she would enjoy или not. :)

15, advanced english 10. I didn't read it for leisure, it was an assignment. I really liked it, although it was hard to read sometimes, I enjoyed the story. It depends on your sister's Чтение level или if she likes to read at all, if she likes Чтение I would recommend it

I was about 10 when I first read the entire book. I think Ты should have your sister read it. My 14 год old sister who hates to read read the book and she actually really liked it. Anyways it is a classic, everyone should read it atleast once in their lifetime.

I was a very early reader (started at three) and this was one of the first 'adult' Книги I chose for myself at the library. I was eight. And yes, I understood it very well. :)

I'm 18 as well, and though I had seen the newest Jane Eyre film when it came out in 2011, I didn't pick up the book till this summer.

I read a play adaptation in English when I was thirteen - that was the first time I discovered 'Jane Eyre.' And I watched the 2006 mini-series in class shortly after we finished the play (or half of it anyway; we never finished it - I saw the rest on YouTube). I reckon I was fourteen или so when I tried to read the book for the first time; but I don't think I ever finished it until I tried again at fifteen. Now, my copy of 'Jane Eyre' is falling apart, and probably the closest thing I own to a treasure. секунда only to an old beany dog I've had since I was a baby. Whether или not Ты should recommend the book to your sister would depend on her level of maturity and how avid a reader she currently is. However I would thoroughly recommend that she reads it at least once in her life; don't force is upon her too soon, though - Чтение a book like 'Jane Eyre' too early could frighten somebody off very quickly, being of the poignant nature that it is. But the book changed my life, and I've no doubt that it may change your sister's if she reads it at the right time :)
