Web Wizard Mike Joni Mitchell Covers Radio Broadcast-Mana'o Radio, Maui Hawaii 

Michael Elam hosts a radio show on Maui's own listener-supported Mana'o Radio KEAO-LP 91.5 FM every Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. During this broadcast on May 16, 2011 Mike played all Joni Mitchell songs performed by a variety of artists.

When it comes to women’s music in the twentieth century, Joni Mitchell stands as the preeminent trailblazer. With music in almost every genre she paved the way for many other popular female singer-songwriters. To this day Joni continues to explore new ground and hark back to the old folkie ways that gave her snowball its first push.

It's hard to believe that before she was Joni Mitchell she was Joni Anderson of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan the fair young maiden of Canadian folk music singing on the Oscar Brandt Hootenany show called Let's Sing Out. I also highlighted several of her performances from this TV show from 1965 which are unreleased elsewhere (for you folkies her backup band includes Dave Van Ronk and the Chapin Brothers including Harry).
