Although he was considered the big favourite to win the show, the singer may have benefitted from his celebrity supporters - most notably Justin Bieber. After being crowned the first-ever winner of 'The Voice', Colon acknowledged the possible boost he got from Bieber's tweeting, saying, "He sent out a tweet to all of his people, and we won by two percent. I don't know how many of them voted или how many of them just maybe followed me on Twitter. But I'm thankful to everyone who lent their support, who told their folks to give me a chance".
For winning 'The Voice', Javier Colon will receive a $100,000 prize and a recording contract.
